    Howdy,

I've been folowing some of the threads for a few weeeks and find I cant stop, so I decided to join. I met my wife in Las Vegas and married her there. NO not the same weekend :) Both of my kids were conceived there (9 and 7 now) So i take issue with the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" theory. I go to Vegas 2-5 times a year for the last decade plus. Look forward adding content where I can. This board has great info!

    Thanks-HOB ?

    Thanks All!

We live on the West Side of Town.

    Next trip 9/13-9/17.
Staying in two places I've never been before (and that list is pretty short). Booked a comp for the whole stay at Flamingo and took a discount room at Vdara Sat/Sun night for when the wife joins me to celebrate the Big 4,0.

Thinking about going to see Santana at House of Blues..Anyone been in that venue? I'm tall with bad knees and I hate crammned seating If i can't get an aisle. Anyone know if its necessary to bother in that place or does everyone stand anyways?

Welcome from The Heights! Anyone ever go to LDL? I'm about ready to write them off 10k pts toward the 3rd level and my offers are getting worse!

I have basically written them off. They sent me a "long time no see" with a better free play. I went for a day trip on the 4th of July, and haven't been back. I got fed up when they would not comp me rooms.

I went to the Horseshoe in Bossier City, and I am treated way better there. CET property. It is a drive though. I have gone there 3 times since the end of May. It was easy to go the first time, when I was able to go online at noon on a Saturday holiday weekend and get 2 comped nights (that night and Sunday). No way LDL would do that for me. Off I went on that 4.5 hour drive, up 59 to 79 to Shreveport. I like the Horseshoe.

I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket there... the lower level is all standing...no seats. The upper level has seating, but it's quite small and limited... for the Toad show, you had to specifically book those seats and they were more expensive.

    Good luck & have fun!

That is good to know. I have also decided to re-up with CET and will be going to Bossier and Tunica next month and then my overnighters will focus on NOLA and Biloxi. Too many options to give LDL much effort. When it first opened, my play warranted a host...and a very good host...she always comped rooms and wrote out comp slips for $75-100 for a big meal at JD's or Asia...now, it's all about those damn points. I barely got one room for four of us to share on a Fri-Sat and one night was $129.

Well welcome...I'm new here too but there's a bunch to read!

Was at Samstown and Horseshoe last weekend. Had a great time. We used to go several times a year but moved out of Houston. Love the Four winds and steakhouse

A little treat before the next vegas trip
