    Hi!
I'm trying to compile a list of places to eat while we are there next week. I think I have most dinners covered, but I'm trying to come up with some lunch ideas. We usually just eat whatever's close when we're hungry which ends up being some fast food place we can eat at home and I want to avoid that this time! So far the only one I've come up with is Earl of Sandwich.. I'm not good at this haha. Please share your ideas! Thank you!

I seriously end up at Margaritaville about 3 times every trip. I enjoy their pasta, burgers, breakfasts. My travel companion last trip really enjoyed a club type sandwich. It's just 'fun'. If by myself & weather is good I always go to 3rd level for first come/first served seating.

If you go for breakfast you get 20% off by showing your CET card -and 10% off retail all day. (I didn't know about the 10% retail until recently - I never used it!!)

Earl is always on the top of my list too.

I also love Paris buffet for breakfast - now that they have the crepe area set up a bit differently with some defined menu choices - I LOVE the one with nutella & bananas.

Where will you be staying and will you have a car?

There are lots of good places to recommend but if it requires a $20 taxi fare, that kinda negates the recommendation.

We like the American Restaurant at NYNY if we are near the south strip in the morning or mid-day...[IMG]

Sorry, I should have included that! We will be at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights and the Flamingo for 5, with no car but we have a family friend who lives there that we will be spending a day or two with so off strip may be an option as well.

Hash House a Go Go at IP. KGB Burger at Harrahs. Holsteins and Milo's at Cosmopolitan are a few I would recommend.

I will always go to Prime at Bellagio every time I go out. If stone crabs are in season, Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab too.

Along with HHAGG consider the Grand Luxe or Peppermill.

Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, we LOVE eating there. My family and all my friends, I'd say I end up there on 90% of my Vegas trips. It's good for lunch.

We love Bouchon at the Venetian (brunch), Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. Carnagie Deli at Mirage. Cafe Vettero at Aria (I know it's just a coffee shop, but a really pleasant atmosphere, food is pretty good). I know they are chains but we enjoy going to Maggiano's and Capital Grill in the Fashion Show Mall.

    This is a lunch thread.

Easily the best lunch deal in Las Vegas is the 20 dollar 3 course lunch at Estiatorio Milos in The Cosmopolitan. The quality you get for your money is stunning.

triple agree with all these as well as the aforementioned Margaritaville , Earl of Sandwich and Grand Luxe and would like to add

    • JJ's Boulangerie Paris
    • Pink Taco at the Hard Rock (off strip)
    • Ocean One Bar and Grill at Miracle Mile Shops Planet Hollywood

make sure you try Spago at Caesars-pricey but oh so great food!! they have a deal at Tix4Tonight-so worth it!!!

We love Le Burger Brasserie (lunch - great burgers and onion rings) and JJ's Boulangerie (breakfast sandwiches) at Paris. You can use your Total Rewards points at both places.

Another great burger place is Strip Burger just outside the Fashion Show mall - get a Restaurant.com certificate.

If you're out near the Red Rock area, you can get an awesome 3-course lunch for $13 (I think it's $15 for dinner) at Technique (the student run restaurant at the Le Corrdon Bleu school). Technique has limited lunch and dinner hours and are frequently closed for private functions, so a reservation is recommended.

No, I have never made a reservation and I've never had a problem getting a table. The environment is pretty casual too, unlike dinner.

For the main course I recommend their Lavraki (Mediterranean bass). For an appetizer I really like the meze plate, but for 10 dollars more their grilled octopus rocks my world. Here's a link to lunch their menu, which is on the right hand side.

In all seriousness, it's easily the best food deal on the strip. The quality and service is top notch.

Mmmm! Pink Taco rocks my socks. I heard somewhere they may be getting one on the strip...maybe at TI? They have a good happy hour too at the one at Hard Rock.
