Mirage room upgrade chance?

I'm staying at the mirage on 2nd September until 11th, I've booked through virgin holidays and it states deluxe room, but what chance would I have to try upgrade to a tower deluxe room for the time I'm staying? Hope I get a chance as they look good with a bigger bathroom.

Considering just about everyone wants an upgrade, chances are slim.

And, if you are booked through a third party, the hotel may have gotten less money for the room in the first place and would be less interested in moving you.

 

Will ringing them up to try secure a tower deluxe room help? i don't mind paying a little extra for each night thats fine with me, just would be nice to try get a tower deluxe i think thats all.

 

I'd say your chances are slim. You are not checking in till Sunday 09/02. That is a holiday weekend and most people will be coming in Friday or Saturday and staying till at least Monday. You may be better off calling ahead to see what you can upgrade to.

 

Thanks i will give them a call and luckily they are 8 hours behind so will try call them today! and see what they can suggest so hopefully an upgrade can be possible.

 

Please post what you find out after check in. We are in the same situation Oct 28 and I don't like the smaller bathrooms either.
