MLife is making me angry :grrr:

I don't have any comp offers for the fall - AT ALL. This is the first time in close to 10 years I have no comps sitting in my account. And it's not like we haven't played recently! In Feb we made Pearl status (know it's not much to some, but good for me!). All of my summer offers expired yesterday and I was assuming I would see new ones there today for the fall months. Nothing.

I need an offer for October. My mom and I really want to stay at Aria. I got a comp offer there that the hubs and I used this past Feb and that was before I'd ever stayed or played there before. We stayed and played and now I don't even get a discounted rate for a return visit. WTF?

If there's any rhyme or reason to how MLife gives out offers, I totally don't get it. I had to book my husband and dad into the Paris for next month since he had a comp CET offer and no MLife offers. Seems like MLife has gotten pretty stingy on things since changing over from MGM Players Club!

I am guessing you play at a consistent level over the years and they know you will continually to do the same, and at that level, you are not deemed worthy for them to offer you with anything?

It's is also potentially computer issues. Call the resort and mention that nothing is visible in the system. I've had specific properties say I had offers in their computer system that I couldn't see on Mlife before.

    A few notes.

    * Offers are based on average play, not tier level
    * Offers or deals are sometimes available by calling in
    * At CET, I hope you are not booking ONLY offers. But, instead log in and see what is available for your dates WITHOUT using offers.

I would call the property you want to stay at - although Aria is usually really good about sending out offers. Since I stayed there last September I have faithfully received offers from them. Now Bellagio on the other hand - I never have offers on the web-site, but always have them if I call. OK, I take that back. I did have a Bellagio offer that showed up for one day, but then disappeared never to be seen again.

Definitely call and ask if you have any offers. I have no offers for fall either and I just called Aria and they said I had an offer for one free night.

That is possible...is that something they consider? I would think that they know I'm a loyal player and would want to keep bringing me back -- even some of my money is better then none right -- or is Vegas doing THAT good that my low rolling ways don't matter to them anymore?

About the CET offer, I did use the calendar to find and book it -- no offes were showing up on my offers page for TR.

I don't understand why Mlife can't get their act together and fix their darn website! I'll try calling a few of them instead.

Do not mean this as in an insult, but if you play is low enough, they really do not want to give you a free room at $140 only to find out you drop $40 in play. Simple business.

If you play is higher, well... they have to make their own decisions. Delta will not give me a free flight in hopes I will spend more money later. O'Charleys will not give me a free meal in hopes I will spend more. Macys will not give me a free shirt in hopes I will spend more.

    Go figure!

Call Aria and ask to speak to a host.Have your travel days in mind when you call. You will know within a couple minutes if they will do anything or not.

the reason you aren't getting any offers is because mlife sucks ass!

i'm so sick of those people acting like their middle of the road properties are five stars.

i've stayed at nyny probably ten times down through the years, mandalay three or four, mgm... take about $1000 per day to gamble with, never place a bet under 25, usually 50...and they act like i'm a dude that shows up in vegas to eat and see some shows. hell, i get better offers from wynncore than mlife.

i go at least once a year, sometimes twice, a few times three times. now i realize i'm not a black chip player but come on, people playing penny slots get better offers than i do.

i've pretty much written mlife off. they would have to offer something pretty great for me to give them my business again.

Definitely make a call. I do not have any fall offers and my summer offer is only for two free nights (even at the Excal) with the third night casino rate. At the same time, my host at NYNY is comping all four nights for my October stay. I never go by the mlife website as the offers are crap whenever I check it.

Go off strip to play. Try some of the casinos on boulder highway and even Green Valley Ranch. They actually value their players.

Im Platinum and all I get are reduced rates now.

MGM is on the verge of bankruptcy anyway. Nothing they do makes sense.

You just made Pearl in feb and have been getting offers for close to 10 years? What's your play history at Mlife? The way I'm reading this you might have been over comped for all these years.

How long are your trips normally, how much coin in and hours of play? Slots or tables? I'm close to platinum at Mlife and haven't had a problem receiving offers in any quarter of the year. The reason I'm asking you these questions because your play might be to little to get noticed

We've been going to Vegas 1-3 times a year since 2001 with the exception of 2010 since it was right after my husband got laid off. Our trips are on average 3-4 days and coin in is probably $1500-$2000 mostly slot play. Yes, I get mostly comp offers from the MLife properties and have only paid casino rate for a handful of stays during that time. We've only stayed at MGM properties the entire time with the exception of our very first visit in 2001 and that was at the Stardust.

Maybe you're right -- maybe they "caught" me after all this time and figured that I am no longer worthy of their offers. The thing is -- low cost or free rooms is what keeps us going back. If I had to pay full price for a room in Vegas that I hardly spend any time in anyway, then my husband and I wouldn't go back so often because then we wouldn't have the bankroll to play.

We may not be high rollers but I would think that our business, money and patronage would be just as appreciated. I still sink money into their machines, dine at their restaurants, sleep in their beds, shop in their gift shops and buy tickets to their shows. The ratio of whales to low rollers like us has to weigh more heavily on the low roller side -- so remove players like us from the equation and I don't think Vegas would continue to thrive. Maybe I'm stupid, I dunno -- just IMHO.

Does your wife have a separate players card with you or you both share one, I was thinking if she doesn't have one, she can get one and both of you can just use her card going forward, she might get better offers just because she's new.

It's hard to blame them for the way they treat their loyal customers, but if you think about it, if they probably figured that there will always be people dine at their restaurants, shop at their shops regardless how they treat their customers, what's the point of giving you free stuff? Not just them are doing this, every business in the world are doing the same thing.

If you didn't make a mistake, you are only worth $100-$200 per trip to them depending on the slots you are playing. That's next to nothing, and probably why you're not receiving any offers. You may have slipped through the cracks in the past, and should be thankful for that. If you're staying on a comp for 3-4 nights, in some cases your play isn't even worth enough to them to turn the room.

I don't mean to be a downer, but with $1500-$2000 coin in per trip, it doesn't make business sense to comp you a room.

Are you perhaps confusing “coin in” with “bankroll”?

Is $1500-2000 the amount that you bring with you that you are willing to lose? Or is it the total amount of the bets you make for the trip after "recycling" your wins through the machines?

Ok sorry -- clearing this up. $1500-$2000 is our bankroll per 3 day trip without any winnings added in. If we win, we usually end up circulating winnings back through the machines too so over all I have no idea what our average coin in would be.

Also -- I am the "wife" and yes my husband has his own card but we are linked through MLife. The offers always show on my account but not ever any on his. We play about the same amount on our cards during one visit.

I am very thankful for the freebies, I never meant it to sound any different. I was just making a point that it seems as if since changing over to MLife the offer consistency and frequency has changed. Maybe they were losing money and this is their way of tightening things up.

I find it interesting that we do not play that much at all at CET properties however my husband is staying on a 2 night comp at Paris next month. When I say we don't play much at all I mean we only racked up 68 tier points during our visit in Feb!

I thought that might be the case. At $1500-2000 coin in, I would be surprised you’ve ever gotten anything more than “from $79/night weeknights” type offers.

I would definitely call, then. I just logged on to my account and NONE of the three offers I’ve received via email/USPS over the past few weeks show up under “thecarve’s personalized offers”. Pretty much par for the course for Milf, unfortunately. :rolleyes2:

Fyi - 68 tier credits means you had $340 of coin in. You actual bankroll for that play was maybe $100-$200.

CET is very open at giving out free rooms. More so than MGM.
