How are Wynn's offers for the low roller generally? I had never played in there before, but spent a Friday night with friends during march madness playing roulette. I think I was only on the roulette table for 3 hours, and only averaged a $25-$50 bet. They sent me a fall offer for 3 nights comped. I was quite surprised.
Their offers are hit or miss. I played there once a long time ago for a few minutes on a slot machine and a few months later I got a letter for 2 comped nights. I used that offer and put in 10 hours of BJ at a $200 average bet and ever since then all I get is an offer for rooms at $129 a night on weekdays ha ha!! Obviously I have never returned there.
That's what I was afraid of. I don't want to concentrate my play there for my next trip in August and then end up paying $129 a night when I go back again in October. I definitely played lower and less than I usually do when I was there, so I was surprised when they offered me three free nights, even on the weekend. It may be some sort of new member enticement. Not sure what I'll do. I think I might just double book my next trip so I can check out their hotel and let my friends stay there for free. Thanks for the info.
In my experience, as with most casinos, they will send great offers up front in order to cultivate you as a player. You obviously didn't earn enough theo to warrant three comp nights, but they are willing to "front you" the comped nights in hopes that you will start playing more $$$ and give them loyalty. Like the previous post, I played there a while back at $50-$100 BJ and had several subsequent trips comped.... First three nights, then only two nights, then one and now I too Only get the occasional offer for a discount room. I asked my host why and she said I was "over comped". That my play (now $100-$200 BJ), didn't warrant the comps. Like fishing, they want to hook you, and slowly reel you in.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep my play at CET. At least I'll be able to give my friends a free room...
I think the "hit or miss" description of their offers is a good one. But I always do better by speaking with my host, or even just calling VIP services. Overall, they really aren't any different (with regards to comps) than other high end joints (at least in my experience).
