Has anyone eaten at Pinks at the Planet Hollywood lately?

Opinions and reviews will be very much appreciated. After seeing this on the travel channel we definitely want to try it, but want to hear what others say first.

    Thanks,
    K-9treatbaker

    PINKS is AWESOME!!!!!!!

The wieners are good and SNAPPY and very flavorful. They put big strips of real bacon on (if that's your thing). The chili is great. And there's a million different combinations to suit your fancy.

I have trouble navigating the menu, but my perfect dog has chili, nacho cheese, jalapenos, bacon, onions, and tomatos.

This is from an experience at the LAX Airport location so I'm not positive if it applies to all branches but I do say NO MUSHROOMS as they used the crappy canned mushrooms instead of freshly sauteed mushrooms. Other than that -- no complaints. Their dogs are excellent.

And as for recency --- we just ate there 2 weeks ago.

I thought it was pretty bad. The chili was gross. The hot dog had snap but little flavor. The onion rings were pretty good. The service isn't too friendly, & you'll pay way more than it's worth.

Gotta agree with this one, we have several places locally that kick the proverbial crap outta Pinks and Nathans, and at a way better price.

We stopped there in May. Wife and I didn't care for the food at all. Dogs were lacking in flavor and the chili wasn't tasty at all. Buns were not fresh either. I guess if you never had any better they would be acceptable. Many varieties of home grilled dogs are much better, especially for the price.

we tried pink`s last year and never again!

the chili cheese fries were flavorless and the hot dog was no better.

we ate on the patio area which was not busy at all and we couldn`t find a clean table. too many good places to eat in vegas to repeat an experience like that.

    PINKS is a tourist trap

I was there recently and it was the worse hot dog ever! I didn't really
eat it because the weiner has a thick casting on the outside that is too chewy and I just didn't want to swallow it.

I should have asked for my money back. But I didn't because I felt sorry for their employees. There is nothing they could do to fix the problem. Lucy

    Thank you all,

We WILL NOT be eating at PINKS. Too many of you say the same thing, bad food. And for that I really thank all of you.

Saved hubby and I a few bucks and probably an upset stomach. LOL

We really appreciate the honest opinions.

I was excited to eat at Pinks but was very let down. The food was not nearly as good as when Pink's was inside the Casino... it also was pretty pricey for hotdogs.

I won't be eating there again.

Vegas pinks is nowhere near la pinks. It's like comparing Nathan's in the mall to Nathan's on Coney Island. Whole different dog.

I agree with most here. We left the majority of ours' in their garbage can. Very disappointing.

Better late than never................Ate there twice this year on 2 different trips to Vegas.
My first time was so-so, got the Chicago Polish Dog and was NOT very pleased. A boiled flavorless Polish dog on a somewhat dry bun.

Went back 3 months later and said I'll give Pink's another shot. Same thing. :vomit:

I'd rather go inside and eat at the Earl of Sandwich ANYDAY!!!!!!! :nworthy:
