Thought Hey! What the heck? Let's throw this question out there to see if I can get anything cool.

I'm sober on my trips but I like sweet drinks. And you can find me getting tipsy on an ice cold coke!

A Long Island Iced Tea is a pretty good, non-alcoholic drink. Very refreshing.

Usually I'll have 3 or 4 before I go out so I'm properly hydrated for the night.

On a serious note try on Orange Julius.

Actually a Long Island Iced Tea is very alcoholic. That's the Long Island part. Otherwise it's just Iced Tea.

I don't drink, so I end up getting virgin pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris. As a man, I catch a lotta crap when I do, though. :Þ

    Yup. Me too.

Ginger Ale with some Grenadine is a sweet favorite. (Yes, I know what it's called)

Cherry Coke (easy ice) is my regular drink. It's usually from the bar so they use Coke and cherry syrup so it's pretty sweet. Then they put the marachino cherries in and you've got dessert! And getting to practice tying the cherry stems in knots with your tongue is a bonus!

At night I'll get a hot chocolate, no whip.

Just for the record a Long Island Iced Tea does not usually contain iced tea! The ingredients generally include vodka, tequila, gin, rum, triple sec, lemon juice and a little coke. Most definitely not non-alcoholic!

I convinced the waitress at ENCORE to go back and talk the boys into making me a CHOCOLATE MILK SHAKE! I became pretty infamous at that casino that week (was in town for a trade show) and whenever I'd come and sit down the cocktail gals would ask me if I wanted a chocolate milkshake.

Virgin bloody marys are good (if made well). Cosmopolitan makes GREAT bloody marys with or without the vodka.

I drink a lot of hot chocolates too (WITH whipped cream).

Since I don't drink anymore to be able to get a milkshake would be so cool. I'll have to try on my trip this October!

I like it! We can start a thread on "The Milkshake trick" and report where we've had success or failure.

Bellagio and Aria high limit rooms bring me watermelon juice whenever I ask. very refreshing during the summer. You could also try a sour fizz (ginger ale with lime juice mixed in)

Sure, Long Islands are virgin. So are Zombies and those yard long Margs :drunk:
You could do like Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang Theory, order a virgin Cuba Libre. :evillaugh I'm sorry, I got that Sheky Green out of my system.

Do a search on virgin cocktails and you'll get lots of ideas. Most of them are assorted juices mixed with assorted sodas and whatever syrup or garnish. Anything with coconut and pineapple juice is OK with me. I like pineapple juice and 7up or sprite and some coconut milk if I've got any.

I also vote for the Virgin Pina Colada - different places make them in varying degrees of quality (a bad one can end up tasting like you are drinking coconut suntan lotion) but I have always gotten great ones from Bellagio cocktail waitresses (make sure you ask for whipped cream on top).

Go Ginger Ale and fruit juices until you find the one that you like best.

As the Originator of Project Milkshake, let me explain how it went down the first time. This is the transcript of the conversation as best as I can remember.

CW: "Would you like something to drink, Sir?"

PL: "Yes, I would like a chocolate frosty milkshake!"
my buddy echoed, "Yeah, that sounds good. I'll have one too!"

CW: "I don't think we can do that."

    PL: "Really? Why not?"

CW: "I don't think they have ice cream at the bar."

    PL: "They have milk, Right?"

    CW: "Yes."

    PL: "And chocolate sauce?

    CW: "Yes."

    PL: "And ice?"

    CW: "Of course."

PL: "All right, here's what they gotta do! Throw the ice, the milk, and some chocolate sauce into a blender and blend it all up. Pour it in a glass and we got a milkshake!"

CW: "All right, then. I'll see what they can do."

About 15 minutes later a beautiful chocolate milkshake with whipped cream on top in a tall glass was delivered to my table. My buddy and I high-fived wildly and tipped her about $10 a piece for making our dream come true.

He left his like a trophy on the table while I drank mine (it was awesome). We posed photos with it about 8 hours later, but it was separated and nasty at that time, of course. I'll find the photo for y'all.
