It is a separate themed casino inside the Flamingo. :faint:

    Couldn't help myself.

It is a different decor and separate area, but it is still inside the Flamingo.

I was never a huge fan of the Flamingo casino but I'm kind if digging the Margaritaville side. I've played slots and Black Jack there several times now. Great drink service and good dealers each time.

If you have been to Flamingo they have that long hallway that connects Margaritaville to Flamingo... I think they used to have a steakhouse in there in the past.

Thats where the Margaritaville Casino is - so it is a part of Flamingo in the same sense that Margaritaville itself is... just down that hallway from the main casino.

If you can find Margaritavilla you will be able to find the casino.

I'm not a Jimmy Buffet fan and I thought I wouldn't like the Margarita Casino, but I have to say it's starting to grow on me. Nice service, and so much cleaner then the Flamingo.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding, but I thought drinks were comp in all the casino's? Just tip the girls who bring them to you? In May I was brought drinks/bottles of water everytime I sat at a slot/machine... in any casino. Isn't that the standard?

Yes, but I think the question is if you will be brought the Margaritaville signature drinks, which are likely premium drinks.

I can testify that as far as the signature Landshark beer on tap or in a long neck bottle that they do supply both comped.

I've been comped Bahama Mamas at the machines. Quality varies but, never had a problem getting one.

Also CET shares revenue of the Margaritaville Casino with Jimmy Buffett. He had to get licensed earlier this year to be able to profit from the casino. Have zero idea of what percentage is shared or costs.

I wonder if they do have the cool looking cards as shown on the site

They had exclusive player cards when they first opened, now I believe they are just the regular TR cards, but not sure. I know they stopped giving out the margaritaville cards though. Also, Yes...it's part of the Flamingo. You can take your voucher from flamingo and use it inside Margaritaville. Not sure about the chips from the tables though.

I love it in there. It's cozier to me, actually quieter than when the dancers are performing in front part of Flamingo, and seems to be less smoky (not sure why except maybe redone ventilation during remodel?)

Most times it hasn't been as busy as the main casino & drink service is good.

Just so you know there is no bathroom here, if you got to go its a long hike back to the Flamingo washrooms. Kinda ruins the vibe if you are having a good time

    RE: Dancers (john39)

In the front tables at Flamingo they have girls dancing at night up above the tables. I don't care but of course the gawkers that aren't playing often fill up those machines just sitting there watching the girls so you can't play them.

The bathroom is an issue - I was VERY surprised they weren't forced to put small restrooms in there somewhere. And the restaurant doesn't want you to use theirs if you aren't eating there. (Although it's probably about same distance for walking to restaurant ones as Flamingo ones as there are entrances to washrooms right across from food court).

    Easter again..:
