Congrats on 38 years! My wife and I actually recently celebrated our 13 year anniversary at the same place. We both enjoyed. We each had the beer pairing which was different and great. As far as the food goes we had the opposite appetizer and dessert (so we were able to try a bit of each), but both had the same main course (the chicken). Everything was fantastic including both the food and the service.

I loved Sage because they had so many items that you rarely see on a menu.

The veal cheeks were incredible and just melted in my mouth. The sweetbreads were very good also.

I wasn't impressed with the absinthe, but I had never had it before.

Yeah, I think the absinthe was something to get once just to try it, but I doubt we'll get it again.

But overall, Sage has been excellent both of the times we've dined there so far.

Have not done early bird but have dined there a couple times.
    Great choice!
Can't wait to go back in November!

Pretty sure we did that early bird deal.. we just weren't impressed at all. Maybe it was what we ordered? But nobody in my party enjoyed it.

I don't know why because everyone else seems to really like it!

For the record, both times we ordered a-la carte - so I can't vouch for the early bird menu specifically, only the restaurant overall.

Their Banana bread beer is amazing.

    That's all I can contribute.
