Amazing report and pics. Thanks so much for the food details. I really want to do one of the tasting menus at Cirque or JR. Laughed HARD at your description of Ka. May have to see it now. Have to say, that is a strange little tub at cosmo. Loved the views. We also noticed that our room at Paris did not get really cool when we were last there.

Great report, enjoyed the pictures! Never would have thought to call down and ask for a fan, apparently it makes no difference anyway.

All that food porn was great, and I was interested to see the size of the tasting menu portions - now that's something I could attempt. If you could only choose one, which one was your favorite? (Because that's the one I'll try). Thanks so much for writing it up.

Yes, it certainly adds up quickly. But then again, my wife has quite a sweet tooth, and I'm not gonna lie. I had my fair share. :)

I was told there's a Walgreens across the street...which you know would be really convenient right? Trek all the way over there, buy it, lug it back to the room...and then what? Check it when I fly back home?

If I had to pick between the three more pricey dinners we did, I'd have to go between L'Atelier or Le Cirque. If you're looking for a more laid back experience, I'd go with L'Atelier. The service was spectacular, courses were explained in detail, and they were more than accommodating. For us, it was a perfect choice since we were seeing KA next door.

Le Cirque is just an experience in and of its own. Service is everything anyone would ever want. Le Cirque should be the "event of the evening" if you want to plan something big. Besides, you'll end up paying for it anyway. :)

Both were awesome experiences and I'm glad we did them. I'd gladly do them again. If someone held a gun to my head and made me pick one, I'd go with Le Cirque. Can't beat that fountain view. Le Cirque was a little pricier than L'Atelier, but only one of us did the wine pairings at MGM.

The bill at both can add up quickly. They'll both ask you if you want sparkling or bottled water. We went with tap for both meals since I didn't really want to pay $10 for a bottle of water. :)

Awesome trip report! Great food porn! You helped me out alot, as I'm going to be having the tasting menu at Le Cirque at the end of August, and now I know exactly what I will get based on your report and pictures. Thank you very much!!!

I loves me some land meats.

This is wicked good, thanks for posting all those pictures. You're making me very hungry, though...

Great read. A quick question, how long did the meal take at Le Cirque? I am eating their next Thurs and don't know if I have time for that menu in the two hours we have before O starts.

The staff at Le Cirque will ask you when you first sit down if you have any special plans for the evening. Based on the time between then and when you sit down, they'll offer some recommendations.

There was a family behind us who had a show at "O" that evening, and the tasting menu wasn't going to be a fit for them.

Le Cirque does also have other options aside from the tasting menu. I want to say you pick an appetizer, a main, and a dessert for a total of $98 (or was it $89?).

Feel free to reserve them....unless you want a cool room...and maybe a pillow butler.

The thing is I don't recall that same problem when I was there last time, albeit in a different tower.

Even in the winter I found it hard to stay cool at Cosmo. Of course sharing a queen bed with MM and AM can keep things hot, Hot, HOT!!!!

How is 71 degrees warm? It's July in Vegas where the outside temps are 105+.
