Where is the closest movie theater to the strip that doesn't require the use of a rental car (i wont have one) and it either in walking/cab distance, or hotel shuttle..

    Thanks!

The Orleans and South Point have movie theaters.

There are theaters in the shops near MGM right on the strip. They are in with the M&M world and the coca-cola store.

The one on the strip isn't very nice... Regal Showcase Theatre 8

We always go to South Point or The Rave at Town Square (this is the best theatre) or Orleans. But if you just want convenient. The strip one works.

I don't care for the Palms one either.

I usually pre-pay tickets for palms on dinelv.com so I pay no premium for IMAX and can get some other free goodies. Take the shuttle at Bills to Gold Coast and get off there and walk across street to palms.

You can access Sam's Town and Orleans by strip shuttle.

But the one near MGM is only walking distance one.

I'd cab it to the Town Square or South Point personally :). Town Square is a great theatre, and nice shopping area. If it's REALLY hot do South Point since everything is inside.
