I was at the Riv for breakfast $10.99 this AM and you would get a better breakfast at Gold Coast or Orleans than there. So why was I there it was free keeping that in mind it was o kay.

It is fairly well documented that the buffets at Gold Coast and the Orleans are superior to the Riv.....

But hell, it was free..... free makes it a winner unless you get sick.

They couldn't pay me to eat at that buffet again, worst food i have ever had in my life, I'd eat out of a garbage can before the riviera buffet again.

C'mon...... I know the Riv buffet isn't all that, but i'll grab some scrambled eggs and sausage links there before a garbage can.

I have eaten the buffet at orleans a few times and didnt really like the food. just seemed plain to me. Gold coast was better.

Breakfast buffet is hard becuase there really isnt alot they can do. bacon and eggs, how many ways they gonna make it?

Like someone said, it's breakfast, eggs, bacon, toast. Not too hard to mess that up. The IP breakfast buffet is acceptable but not great. You could do much better next door at Harrah's, Bigger selection, but higher price.
