In a lot of ways, the Pepermill is my Nevada Everest. That's to say it's one of the last things on my "always wanted to do" list. I always fail to get there for some reason.

I know all about it and I know the food has a good rep, but I want to ask about the fireside lounge side. I know it's open 24 hours (obviously), but what kind of crowd does it draw? Is there a best night/time to go? Is it crowded? Will it be all couples making out by the fire? Is it lively? Are there redheads? Anything else I need to know?

I guess I just want to know what to expect because I hope to finally get there next week. I always attempt to get my group in there, but always come up short. This will change in four days.

I've been inside the lounge once and it was kinda laid back with not a lot of people in there. It reminds me of sitting around in any bars perimter lounge area than anything else. Yeah, its different and old school, but the lounge was more like any other bar lounge to me.

It was on my to do list for several trips, but I never made it. About five trips ago I finally visited. Now it is on my must do list when I am in Vegas.

I normally hit it earlier in the day so it is never crowded. There is just something about the "feel" of the lounge. Love it and you should definitely knock it off your list.

I've lost count the hookers that I've picked up in the lounge at the Peppermill.

Many good, many not so great.

Highly recommend for women, drinks, food, and atmosphere.

A must visit for anyone visiting the strip.

Prices are very reasonable for Vegas. Huge huge plates/portions. Very unique with the fire pit inside.

What tha??? I'm not positive, but I believe "gingers" are prohibited after 10 p.m.!!!

Please let us know how your excursion to the Fireside Lounge goes... my recollection from several years ago is that it's a cool place to unwind and have a few cocktails and some laughs. It's not about to overtake XS or Tryst, but that's not what it's about... just a neat gethering place for pretty much all types... redheads too!

I haven't been back to the PM in a couple of years, but when I lived in Vegas it was usually either our starting or ending point for a night out at the strip. The crowd varied depending what time it was, but I do remember that it was where quite a few of the local casino workers ended up after work.

Mainly couples there. I enjoyed a nice night there with a short blonde and it was a good way to start a romantic night. ;)

It's a very chilled place. Without a doubt, it has a old school vibe. It's a great place to have a couple of drinks with a small group of people. I would highly recommend it. It's not a place for an entire evening, but a GREAT starter lounge. Enjoy!

Superb place, I would recommend not getting seats by the actual fire though, gets far too hot

I have been there a couple of times and it has been pretty quiet. Interesting old music vids on the tv. Cute cocktail waitresses in tight clothing.
