I can't leave it at just one. Based on our last couple of trips, it's either Nora's Cuisine or Egg Works.

I know it doesn't rate on a lot of peoples steakhouse list. But, I always love Gallaghers at NYNY. It's delicious and I just like the vibe for whatever reason. I usually go with the guys and we've been to SW and craftsteak and just enjoy Gallaghers more. I also can't make a trip without going to Sambas at the mirage. I guess you can tell I'm a giant carnivore.

That's a really general question, sco. Lots of variables to consider.

    Favorite buffet: M Resort
    Favorite up-scale Breakfast: Society Cafe
    Favorite pizza: Grimaldis
    Favorite up-scale dinner: Sinatra
    Favorite not-so-up-scale Breakfast: Margaritaville

If I had to choose one...Sinatra.

If I had to choose only one? Carnevino - Steakhouse + Italian, kills two birds with one stone & does an excellent job at both of them.

Also currently on the favorites shortlist [by hotel]:
Sage, American Fish & Julian Serrano @ Aria
Country Club & Bartolotta @ Wynn
    Cut & Morel's @ Palazzo
    B&B & Bouchon @ Venetian
    Craftsteak @ MGM Grand

[Alex at the Wynn would actually be at the top of the list above Carnevino if the bastards hadn't closed it :grrr:

Restaurant Charlie which used to be at the Palazzo but is also closed is another one that if it weren't close would also have been #2 or #3 on this list.

Joël Robuchon was fantastic, but having done the 16-course meal once is probably enough for a lifetime, so I don't know if it would count as a favorite like the other places above that I like to try & visit at least once a year

L'ATELIER DE JOËL ROBUCHON. Great, great food, and less expensive than the formal Robuchon restaurant next door.

We love to sit at the counter, chat with the waiters (most of whom have been there since the place opened) and watch the food being ever-so-carefully prepared.

    Agree.

I've been visiting Las Vegas since the 1970s and only scratched the surface as far as restaurants go!

Lots of good ones. But two tie for my favorite: Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan and Verandah at the Four Seasons.

We have not eaten at a high-end place that we returned to. Just not our style, I guess. Every trip we try a new place that ends up costing us $200 and walk out no more satisfied than eating $30 worth of Pizza and beverage at Grimaldi's.

These are the must do food spots each trip...
Lucille's BBQ - half price drinks and apps after 9pm
Grimaldi's - the only acceptable pizza in the greater LV Valley IMO
Coronado Cafe @SP - graveyard specials are the best in Vegas
Baja Miguels @ SP - lunch special can't be beat
    In-N-Out - What can I say, we're from the east coast. We don't have Double-Doubles animal style.lol
