Stayed at GG last time to get a new perspective of Downtown and normally i get comped RB at MGM with around $750 a day. anyone ever know if GG does the same or ? havnt stayed or gambled DT since 2001 and things have changed a little.
We've been comped 3 nights a couple times and some free play ($60?). One night the pit boss was feeling really generous after seeing me play for a few hours and he generously offered me a free shrimp cocktail. Don't hold your breath waiting for offers.
I play VP, not table games. Regularly ( every 2 months ) get a mailer offering 2 nights, $20 FP & $15 food credit.
I play craps and blackjack there. I get 3 nights, $100 FP, $50 food, and tournament entries. Seeing as how they have 1 restaurant and 1 bar (of you could that bar outside) it would be mighty hard to spend hundreds of dollars in food like you can do at MGM.
Thanks for the info. im mostly a machine player, but was gonna plan a trip next week. may wait and see what fall comps might bring
I have found that with some moderate play, the pit is generous with meals and the small original rooms. By moderate play I mean $25/hand Blackjack for several hours. It has been my experience that when you are nice, tipping dealers, they can be as accommodating as one can expect at the Golden Gate. Du-Pars is well Du-Pars? Also, this is anecdotal, in the past when I have received several food comps for several days in a row, I have received room comps within the next few months. I have not stayed there in several years, I prefer my comped rooms at MSS. But if they sent me an offer for one of their new little suites, I would take it!
they dont always mail out their offers, even if you have them. i found this out by going to get a new card and the woman at the booth told me i had three free nights. i dont know how i was supposed to know this since it wasnt mailed to me.
yeah. i was hoping they had a good customer service compared to Mlife and Harrahs. sadly i don't think they do. doubt ill stay again. suite was very nice and the people are too. but if the casino cant keep track of a player via a card. it doesn't look very promising.
I just got my mailer yesterday. I have not played there in at least a year and a half. They send 4 free nights and 30 meal comp 40 in slot play. I have never stayed there. They offer lots of slot tournaments and have been very generous with promotions. I think they gave me 15 T shirts the last time I played plus a bunch of other stuff.
I get my mailer every other month. I think we'll stay there one or two nights next month. I've been wanting to stay downtown for the past year.
