I'm from Germany and as it's too cold for me here most time of the year I really love the heat. I don't have special plans yet. I'll travel with my son and we want to got horseback riding. As we stay 3 weeks in Las Vegas, maybe we will spend 2-3 days in Santa Moncia in between. Besides that I'll enjoy the pool, go shopping, a bit gambling...

I’ll be there 14th-18th. I’m not sure if it is going to be a solo trip or if my sister and/or BIL might be tagging along. I’m currently booked at Cosmo. Though, the sis is a Wynncore fanatic. So, if she’s along, I might be forced to switch (not that it ever takes much to convince me to stay at Wynncore).

Plans are to gamble a lot, drink a lot and eat well. I’m also considering a show – it’s been over two and a half years since my last Vegas show. I’m thinking probably comedy – perhaps Carrot Top – but I dunno.

I’ve also been enjoying my VP lately (usually a BJ/Craps guy). So, I’m going to try to get downtown or off strip to find some better pay tables and change the atmosphere a bit.

I'm tempted to try out the $1000 promo at Riv if it (the promo and the hotel/casino:rolleyes2:) is still around in July. We'll see though - I'm a creature of habit and the Riv is certainly not a usual haunt.

Not looking forward to the heat, though it does tend to thin the crowds on the strip out a bit. But it isn’t too big a deal – a little less walking, a few more cab rides, I suppose.

I live out in the western part of the state, so we probably aren’t dealing with the same local casinos…but I agree that the pickings are slim if you’re looking for anything resembling a Vegas proxy. I was jonesing for some action last weekend and made a trip up to the Mardi Gras casino in Charleston, WV (not to be confused with the casino in Charles Town, WV). Let me tell you, my Vegas appetite was not sated in the least. Bush league all around. And I’ve never listened to more complaining. “Yeah, buddy, I get it, you’ve lost three hands in a row. What are the odds? I dunno, something like 8-1…astronomical, huh?” :rolleyes2: LOL.

Anyway, I’d definitely be down with a tag-team beat down of some casino’s craps tables. We can get the particulars ironed out as the time approaches. You know where to find me.

Solo trip 7/16-7/19. Poker, food, weather, "scenery", nba summer league, and whatever else comes along.

Really hope the weather is what I'm expecting. 100-110 during the day, 80 at night, and not a rain cloud in the sky.

I'm pretty fortunate...Celtics fan here. Season tickets and all. I know not a lot of people outside of the Boston area are too fond of our teams, but we can all agree that we hate the Miami Heat, am I right?!

Ultra cheap trip for me. Using a free flight on SW from a credit card offer, and staying at the Flamingo for $25/night. Hell, the biggest cost of my trip will be the rental car! haha.

Nice, staying at the Flamingo 16-19. Saw your profile....how about when you're done with your trip, you fly back to MA instead, and I'll fly to Hawaii! Been to Kaua'i twice, loved it.
