I am going to make this an open poll because I do not know much about steakhouses in Vegas but I am interested in exploring them. I want to know your most favorite and all your other favorites. I am interested in variety, taste, decor, inside hotel especially. Price is also a worthy consideration.

Although we have had exceptional meals at The Range (Harrah's) and SW Steakhouse (Wynn), our new favorite is the Country Club (Wynn).
The Wagyu chili-rubbed steak (order medium rare for a flavor sensation!) was phenomenal. Just perfect, both in taste and texture.
Cocktails, sides and drinks...some of the best we've ever experienced.
Service was exemplary. They gave us time between courses to just enjoy each other, the surroundings and the food.
This is what we go for when fine-dining in Las Vegas.

I think The Range would be more in the cost-effective area of bang for your buck, if that's what you are looking for.
Bone-in ribeye is heavenly. Service and ambience are inviting and warm.
They also have musical entertainment in the lounge area on certain nights.

SW Steakhouse was excellent in service and surroundings. Food was B+ to A-.
(My medium steak was a bit too medium-well for my liking but the flavor was great, so I'll give them that.)
The wedge salad with blue cheese, buttermilk dressing and a plank ( I do mean a plank!) of delicious bacon could have been
a meal unto itself and I would have been happy.
Enjoyed the Lake of Dreams shows (after sundown) during dinner. They gave my husband a lovely birthday dessert too.

But the tastiest and most delicious of steaks goes hands down to Country Club at Wynn.
Just fantastic. Tender and mouth-watering. Can't say enough about it, so I'll stop now.

Others will be along to give some great suggestions, I'm sure.

    Enjoy.

Have dinner at Prime @ Bellagio. I can pretty much guarantee it will be the finest dining experience of your life.

Thus far, I've only tried 3 vegas Steakhouses. I would grade them as follows (out of 10)

    Delmonico: 9.5
    Craftsteak: 8
    Strip House: 5

My wife and I like The Flame at El Cortez. Go ahead and laugh....

    The reasons:

    Good food.

    Never crowded.

    Good service.

    Piano music.

    VERY reasonable with prices.

My wife and I are only in our mid-30's and we're tired of the Strip and all the craziness that goes with it. The Flame is just what we need and like.

Also both of the steak houses at the Orleans....I can't remember their names. Both are like The Flame....maybe a little better.

You can't go wrong with these.

    Enjoy!!

Have only been to one steak house in Vegas, and that was Tony Romas @ the Fremont hotel. Loved it! Was very crowded though, at least at the time we were there, so we had to wait for about 30 minutes ("could be more, could be less") to get a table. But that's ok, the food was really good:licklips:

    Two suggestions:

Golden Steer on Sahara. Very "Old Vegas" in atmosphere.

Billy Bob's at Sam's Town. A bit out of the way but very good and not that outrageous in price.

Tender at Luxor, more specifically the Bison Ribeye, one of the best steaks I have ever had anywhere and I grew up raising and showing Angus mind ya, the Neiman Ranch Ribeye is every bit as high quality as what I paid twice as much for at Carnevino as well.

Ok i've eaten at the following:

Ballys Steakhouse - long time ago - 6

    Pirme at Bellagio - 2011 - 7.5

    Tender at Luxor - 2011 - 8

    StripSteak at Mandaly 2011 - 8.5

Thats all in my opinion. They were all great meals I just thought that Strip Steak had the edge over the other two.

Tender at Luxor is a great resteraunt.

Off the top, these are the steakhouses I've tried. Until I created this list, I didn't realize how many were downtown.

    Vic & Anthony's (Golden Nugget) - 9.0
    StripSteak (Mandalay Bay) - 8.0
The Flame (El Cortez) - 6.5
    Hugo's Cellar (Four Queens) - 7.0
    Binion's Steakhouse (Binion's) - 6.5

Of these, Vic & Anthony's at Golden Nugget was definitely the cream of the crop. If memory serves, I had a medium rare ribeye with bacon blue cheese butter. So tasty.

    Great, now I'm hungry...

Go for their signature steak filet on the bone.

    Pricey but well worth it.

I've been debating the top vegas steakhouses online since before I was born, so rather than justify I'll just give my choices in order (very tight list though).

    1. CUT, Palazzo
    2. SW Steakhouse, Wynn
    3. Craftsteak, MGM
    4. Prime, Bellagio
    5. Carnivino, Palazzo
    6. Jean George, Aria
    7. Botero, Encore
    8. StripSteak, Mandalay Bay
    9. Switch, Encore
    10. STK, Cosmo

    Just sticky this list.

Can anyone compare the Caesars version to the original? How's the atmosphere in the Ceasars version?

(Filet on the bone is YUMMY!) :)

I live in NY. I have to the been to the one in NYC and the Borgata in Atlantic City. I like the Borgata over NYC. It is a tie between Borgata and Vegas.

I went to the one in Caesars LV in March and everything was great. The waiter was from NY, he explained the different cuts of meats, gave suggestion for sides. GREAT SERVICE. My dad said "That was the best steak he ever had" He had the porterhouse.

It is always better when it is on a comp

Can't wait till next week, made reservations already.
