    My Trip Report

    June 14th-16th trip
    Places visited--
    Downtown Casinos on Freemont
Hilton Grand Vacations on the strip
    Wynn
    Caesars Palace
    Circus Circus

    Thursday the 14th
Had a flight from Milwaukee and arrived around 2pm. We then picked up everyone in the group from my side (10 People), and went to the HGV. Nice rooms though I like the Flamingo grand vacations better size wise. My friends stayed in 2 suites, and we had a king double room. The suites did not seem great, there were a little small.
    Bachelor party---
Five friends and I started at the triple seven brew pub, and had dinner. Oyster shots were surprisingly good, and I had the fish tacos. The wheel of beer had a lot of misses for me, as they were too bitter of an aftertaste.
We watched part of the playoff game and had fun cheering on the old ladies winning on 100 penny credits on WOF. After dinner we moved to California casino.
We played craps and roulette there. and had allot of fun super low rolling. My friends were betting 1 dollar roulette red or black and came out 2 dollars ahead! I tried to explain how to play craps, but they were too buzzed to understand already. Bad sign!
This is were things get a little hazy so I will have to hit some highlights.
Went to the new whiskey bar at Binions looking for what else whiskey, but found they only had 4 types. Big let down as I am a whiskey lover.
We started to play blackjack and found a spot that had 3 dollar hands. My friends jumped on it and I went and played one number roulette. I like to bet on one number only I get a feeling for. This has worked into quite a few wins for me, but on this trip I would have none.
I was getting pretty buzzed but not there, so my friends started buying me 2 one dollar Caronas. The casino we were playing blackjack at had them as a deal. After a couple I got into crazy betting shape= stupid bets.
We jumped to another casino and started playing blackjack. I was betting 25 a hand my friends were doing the minimum 10. We were doing OK and then one of my friends gave me a double shot of Gin. I hate gin with a passion, but was soo drunk that when he gave it to me I loved it. They had added lime on top to make it nice. My taste buds must have died!
As we were playing there was one seat open. Random guy jumps in who had been standing behind us. All the sudden we start winning and he starts putting giant bets on the table. Doing 250 hands playing two hands at a time. We won 5 or 6 in a row when he came, he had some double opportunities, and took them to the bank. To let you know how drunk I was I doubled on a 14 against dealers 16 with my previous winnings. It was a 250 hand I randomly put and so it was 500 total. I lost of course but random guy won again for 7th or time in a row. After his win the pit boss asked we all leave! I could not figure out why as we were not rowdy. Until I realized he was counting the 2 deck BJ we were playing. What a bummer as It was a good table, but what can you do. On to the next casino, wait a minute this isn't a casino:confused2:
It was a strip club found off a freemont, and it was small and gross. I am not a strip club guy, but my friends are. So we sat down and had girls surrounding us like piranha. I did not think any of them were actually good looking, which with drunk goggles is a bad sign. My friends got me another jack and coke-- vegas drink of choice, and lead me to the back room. One friend went with who must have bought the dance. I got my lapdance, and felt like a skeez doing it, I did not enjoy it and by the end all I wanted from her was a hug, for feeling bad. Yeah I know not the manly normal thing to do. I was glad it was over, but she said hey no one paid me yet for the dance are you going to pay?! I thought hey that was rude of the guys so I gave her the 80 for the dance. As I give her the money one of my friends says to the guys these dancers are S@#T, I would dance better! Instigator friend goes why don't you jump up then? He does of course and immediately gets thrown out by security. Thus end the strip club, and my friends dancing career. They had paid the stripper so she just took the drunk guy for twice the money and half the work. (Never got my hug)
It is about 2 am and we are walking back. PREFACE--- I am a taekwondo instructor who dabbles in brazilian jiu jitsu, my friends are all from my school. I like to get drunk with my Army Ranger friend and ground fight, not actual fighting but submission stuff. No ill will or punches thrown.
Anyway walking back my instigator friend sees my Ranger buddy poking me and my belly. I am a little over weight and do not like being poked. He yells 4-1 the ranger could kick your butt. :wink2:
I look over to my friend and do a double leg take down right on freemont street maybe 2 feet from the actual street. We start groundfighting and I submit him. Of course I was wearing shorts and totally tear up my knees with blood all over. Thank the gambling gods we did not get arrested! Sorry I can't remember everything, but that is what the one double shot of gin does to you:drunk:
    More to come.

Also by the end of the night I had 350 of my 700 I started with which means I was up allot before stupid bets, and stripper fee.

    Great report!!

Dancing on the strip joint stage and being thrown out. I will assume this is Glitter Gulch, unti corrected.

    Playing with a card counter.

Hopefully, your marriage will be as much fun.

    Friday

OK Thursday went until 2am, but I was juiced on booze so I did not fall asleep until 9 am! I like to talk when I drink and my poor fiance felt the pain of that. I got a couple hours and then had to be up to pick up my dad at the airport. I had bought him his ticket, and he had paid the extra for first class. Funny, for a 3.5 hour flight he was living the life. I felt bad because the young people were all going to see absinthe at Caesars and have dinner at PJ Clarkes. This is a package deal for 120 on Vegas.com
My crazy group started drinking after they woke up at noon and by 5 were full blatant drunk. I was not drinking as no sleep and drinking equals bad stomach for me.
The two fathers hung out the rest of the night driving around Vegas seeing the sights, Fremont street, the Bellagio fountains, and got some food. It had changed allot since my dad had been there in 1976!
Anyway back to drunks. Got the group to Caesars, two full on barely walking drunks out of 10. One of those two has hip problems and can fall over when sober so drunk = barrel of fun. We walk up the 3 stairs from the table area in Caesars to the front and she falls right away. Security gets called and we get our IDs checked. What, drunks in Vegas that is weird...She was fine but I put her on a penny machine until we can get our tickets to be safe. Five dollars can last a while when your doing minimum bet...:peace:
Get the tickets and get lost getting to PJ Clarkes, god Caesars is big. The people there were so nice with the drunks and we had great food nothing was bad and all was filling. I had the steak and fries huge portions are good for soaking up absinthe.
    Absinthe--- What a great show
I told my friends best show for the money in Vegas, and they all loved it. It was really funny watching people trying not to laugh in our group about some of the racist jokes. It was just as good the second time around, and the drinks they serve are strong and different then what your used to. The burlesque is great, and the stunts amazing. I recommend to anyone with a weird sense of humor.
On to IP after for cheap gambling.
My cheap friends did not last long with the 10 dollar table minimums. They ended up leaving and going to circus circus for 5 dollar BJ. I stayed for a while lost 150 and went to the wynn. I go to the wynn to feel high class, and smell the flowers as I walk through the flower area. I lose 200 more on BJ at the wynn, because I play around with a betting system and fail. Take your winnings and put them away I say now, don't let them ride. On the way out I get my first Proposition by ladies of the night. As I am walking out the Wynn in the jewelry area well dressed girl asks if I am having a good time? I saw sure its Vegas! She then asks is I want more fun with her friends, and that is when it dawns on me--- Hooker! :confused2: Especially since I am wearing a Who Tshirt and cargo shorts not high class at all! I say no thanks and have fun yourself. Man could have gotten myself in trouble if I was less sober and just thought she was nice. Sometimes I am a rube about that kind of stuff. Got a cab, and he proceeded to go 60MPH down LVBLVd to get me to the HGV resort! Woke me right up, all of this before the wedding on Saturday. More to come. Here are some pics one of ground fighting and one at PJ Clarkes.

    Wedding at Samstown

After getting back to the Wynn the Fiance was asleep, and I was not drunk. All I had to do was get a good nights sleep and wake up on my own and get ready for the wedding. I of course kept waking up every hour worried I was getting up to late and missing my wedding. By the time 9 am rolled around I had woken up probably 6 times! My fiance was gone, I was alone. This is when the nerves hit me. :vomit:
Great way to start the day! I eventually got ready, and because I did not want to be alone went to the best mans room ( army Ranger). He took the rings and got me a 5 hour energy. He had to keep building up my confidence all day until after the ceremony. Sometimes you realize you have friends who care, and this was one of those times.
Got the group in the van for the ride to Sams from HGV, some people kept asking if I was nervous... OF COURSE I WAS! You could see it from my trembling hands. We got to Sams, took some photos with the group, and I waited until the ceremony started. The ceremony was held on the balcony over looking the jungle area. They had 40 chairs setup and an arch. As she walked down the aisle I sniffled a little, very noticeable as she was so BEAUTIFUL. :nworthy:
Her dad gave her away and she just smiled at me. I tried not to make eye contact so she would have less reason to cry. Who am I kidding it was so I did not cry!(big baby) We went through the ceremony without tears and it only took 15 minutes max. All that worrying for nothing! After we all went to the ball room we rented with tables and food. Very nice looking only cost 1200 for lunch with 40 people. It was buffet style and I heard the food was great. I could not eat as I messed up my stomach will all the nerves. We all had fun, and got back to the HGV no problem. My friends went to the pool and I spent the rest of the day with my new wife relaxing. Tomorrow would be a flight to Cancun for our honeymoon. That is another tale in it's self.
I am including pictures at the bottom. Thanks for reading, and thanks to the moderators for making such a cool message board.
