Hi Everyone, just got back from the Bellagio (will add trip report soon), had a wonderful time and reached Platinum status.

Sooooo now what? :) What perks/benefits can I expect? I used my first perk with getting two free tickets to the fine art gallery at the Bellagio so that was nice.

is it really better than sapphire, pearl or gold status?

    Thanks everyone!!

You get to walk to the front of the line in the coffee shops and buffet.

Pretty much a VIP pass. There were some posts a few weeks ago with other perks, like getting into Secret Gardens.

Every Casino has one. I used it at Mandalay Bay, and I walked past one every day at Mirage. It even has its own little sign showing a Noir card and a Platinum one. If you dont see it, just walk to the front and flash your card. They will no what to do.

I was at the MGM Grand and was able to jump in front of about 40+ people in a taxi line on a Saturday night which was really great as we were late to meet some folks coming in at the airport. I just walked up to the front and asked the fellow ushering folks into the taxi's if my card did anything for me and he said yes and called the next taxi, open the door and we hoped in. It was really great given we were late.

I was at Aria and there was an unusual rush (for a Monday) for the buffet. I almost (but not quite) felt guilty skipping past the long line.

I originally ridiculed the Mlife Platinum card as useless, however on our last trip, it was really busy at Bellagio and the card was invaluable.

Upon arrival I had to rush to get Viva Elvis tix from the O box office for Gaggles. There was a huge line. Ugh. Boom l see a platinum line. 30-40 min saved right upon arrival--HUGE.

2 or 3 visits to the buffet and 2 visits to cafe, always a huge line do to hotel being at capacity. Boom, platinum line, pass everyone. See ya.

    Long taxi lines, no problem.

Additionally, upon check in I was given a choice of upgraded rooms. Also I believe points accrue faster once you reach platinum.

I believe some club admission benefits exist as well.
