I just got back from Vegas and when I put my voucher ticket into one of the change machines, it spit out an extra $20 bill. Has this ever happened to anyone?

sometimes they stick together. worse is when it doesn't spit out enough and you have to go talk to them and file a complaint and it's a hassle to get it back because the casino doesn't own the machines.

Always count your money from these machines. I never did until my SIL got shorted $100 at our local Indian Casino. It took her three months to get her money.

Since that happened, I started counting my money and got shorted $20 and then I called the ext. # on the machine. After about 20 minutes this these two guys show up and one of the guys says, your twenty will be right down here, pointing to the bottom of the ATM. He opens the machine and there was three twenties down there. He gave me one and left the other two in there.

Before I left, I asked him if this happens a lot and he just smiled and walked away. In my SIL's case, she had complained to the bank instead of calling the number on the screen. That's why it took so long.

Since that time it's happened to me once in Vegas and twice to my wife. Always count from these machines that the casinos use.

I've used the TITO machines thousands of times and it's never over or underpaid me. Definitely agree that you should always count your money and not just assume it's going to be right cause it came out of a machine.

A few years ago when the TITO machine were new,my wife hit a royal for a$1000, a slot attendent witnessed it and gave us a bit of advice. Always count the money right there at the machine to verify it. There are cameras built into the machines, so you have a video record of any shortages.

I have never been overpaid or underpaid, but my BF does have recurring Fantasy where the machine just keeps spitting money out at him :)
