Staying at the Wynn for the first time, do they have any sister properties other than Encore as far as play or comps? The website doesn't give any information. Also, has anyone had luck when comped through local casino in Indiana for Wynn, at getting an upgrade or what to ask for? Doubt it with this level of casino, but it's always worth a try. Any area or room to ask for? How is the noise their in the rooms? Thanks dor any info!
Wynn & Encore are the only two Wynn properties in Vegas - you'd have to concentrate all your play at the two of them to have it count towards Wynn comps. I do believe Wynn does have some affiliate type programs with certain local casino operators that don't have properties in Vegas, though I don't recall specifically which ones - so it is possible that your points at your local casino in Indiana might count towards something at Wynn. Though something I would keep in mind is in general - I think most people would agree - Wynn probably has the bar set the highest for comps of all the strip properties. Of course, if you're dead-set on staying at Wynn and/or are a higher-level player, this shouldn't really matter - but if you're not either of those and are looking to get the most comps for your gambling dollar, you might want to also consider staying & playing elsewhere. The quietest rooms in the Wynn building are the tower suites rooms & suites facing the golf course, in the Encore building they're the rooms & suites facing north.
Wynn In Encore tower be careful of lower floors facing the nightclubs. It could get loud - but we stay up late in Vegas, so was not issue with us.
