Well it's time for another Vegas odyssey, and as I am wont to do, here is another version of my voluminous pre-trip notes. For those who aren't familiar, I'm a low roller, promo chaser, red chip BJ & quarter VP player. After a few very (VERY) lean years my new job has given me some financial flexibility, but I just can't seem to shake my frugal ways.

This trip I'm paying for the plane fare, but comped 4 nights downtown, with a free VP tourney at the 4Q. After some (not much) commiserating I decided to forego the rental car this time (for real, I mean it), and have not even looked at rates. It will be the WAX from the airport, and if I need to hit some other places, buses will be the way to go. Lady friend has been having some tough times, and won't be joining me.

So after booking the trip I started catching up with trip reports and blogs, and as usual have put together a few pages of tidbits, promos, and new (to me) things of interest. I used to keep a separate document with promotions, but now I just throw them all together for easy reference. I don't expect to do most of the things listed, in fact I expect to do few of them, but the notes help me organize and prioritize the things I CAN do while in town.

If you have any questions about where I came up with specific promos post a reply & I'll let you know. Without a car my off-strip wanderings will be limited, so the notes are somewhat shorter than usual.

Order is as usual - downtown, then Strip, then off-Strip. Have fun & good luck to all!
