Old thread on this is closed. More and more of these are appearing around town. I first saw at Luxor. This is a fantastic game. True odds are paid for place bets and odds bets down to the penny. You must know how to play craps in order to play this. I normally play at Orleans as a min of 1 dollar on pass line is allowed.
No points allowed on this game. I always see people playing this. I was a Sunset Station 10 am on a weekday and the place was deserted, except 5 people playing this. I don't miss the crap table with 5 buck (plus) min bets, the dealers asking for tips etc and the dice wrecking havoc on the place and come bets.

Places I have seen or know they have Shoot to Win Craps are:

Rivera - I called and the friendly slot manager told me so
Slots of Fun (Part of Circus circus) - I called and they said don't have it but they do. Friendly Slot floor attendant guy directed me to the Slots of Fun
    Orleans
    Sunset Station
    Luxor
Stratosphere - I called and the friendly slot manager told me so
    Binions

I know there are lots more.

Its available at every MGM casino.

Somebody mentioned seeing it at Flamingo but I didn't visit there on my last trip so can't confirm that myself (it doesn't sound like CET though... they are pretty adverse to putting out games like this where the players can make offsetting bets in an attempt to rack up TR credits)

I played this last time out, just to give it a try. And it will be my last. Time is too quick to make bets (changes, etc.) and the maximums are rather small. I forget what it was, maybe $100 or so.

    Orleans Hotel Shoot to win

You can bet 1-500, I am cheap so I place the numbers for a buck each and a buck each on the hard ways. If I hit the hard number I parlay it as its now a free bet.
I just wish they would get the beer (Corona) cold. Now that its 100 plus everyday, an ice cold beer taste so good and they are just cool, not cold.
    Should I complain (to who)?

Played this game this past weekend and had a blast playing. The wife is to intimidated to play at the tables so it was great for us to play together. Mirage had $5 min but could place bet for only $1, so we were betting $3 on the 6&8.Turned $20 into a $100 in 20 min trying to kill time before our show. The Orleans had it for only $1 min bet and it was packed. Found the machine on Sat night at TI where we were staying and it also had $1 min bet. Only issue I had at TI was it would only let you bet $5 min on pass line but everything else was $1. Also tried to do a couple of hop bets and machine would only let me bet $5 min on those too. Tried to find someone to ask about this problem but could find anyone. I thought if machine states min $1 your min bet should be $1 and not forced to bet $5

I noticed this too over the weekend. The wife loves playing it and she said some places make you place all the bets at the minimum stated while other places allow you to make multiple one dollar bets as long as the table min is met.

I played at the Orleans last weekend...only one seat open and I wonder why....the max bet on anything on the table was $14!! A few of the regulars said it was just that seat. I could do a $14 buy and a $14 place on a single number but $14 was as high as it went. I guess someone didn't set that terminal up properly. Still pretty fun and good times for a few bucks.

    Shoot to Win Craps

I have had the "Press the button" not working (drives you nuts as you have to wait) and had the machine stuck on 10 dollar denomination. They had to reboot the machine and the slot guy said it was static electricity that caused it.

Riviera and Slots of Fun $2 minimum and Flamingo and Caesars $3 minimum. We were there April 20 -25.Had a lot of fun on these machines.Lower minimums and faster action.Good beverage service at all 4.I did better on these machines than the live crap tables. We are going back in early September.Sounds like they are all over town now.A great game.Hopefully the casinos won't jack up the minimums to the live table minimums.

Riviera and SOF you couldn't earn points. It was posted on the machine.I put my total rewards card in the STW machine at Caesars and earned very miniscule points.I think they are leery of giving much away because you could have 2 people in collusion doing the exact opposite for near zero loss and racking up a bunch of points.Just a theory.
