Just came back form Orleans, Played about 6 hours of double deck bj. Checked my points online and see a whopping $1.25 or so put on my card, Average bet was $10. Low amount i know but are they that tight?

Honestly, I surprised they gave you any comps on 10 dollar double deck BJ.

Yeah, that's better than nothing - especially considering A) the HA on double-deck BJ is very, very low and B) Most places won't even rate you at table games unless you're playing at least $25/hand.

The comps you got aren't really that tight. Their theoretical win off you in that time is maybe about $50-100 depending on how fast the hands were and the rules of the game. And you likely got free drinks, and they have to pay the staff and keep the lights on (overhead), eating into that 50-100.

Even off strip casinos are still businesses.

But don't despair. While you didn't earn many comps, there's always the chance that you'll get cheap/free room or other offers to try to get you to come back.

That's where low rollers get most of their value from a players' club.

Was your 6 hours of play all in one day?

Like others have said, comps for table games don't show up in your account. You have to ask the pit for comps from table play. I have heard a pit boss there say before that they expect 3 hours of play for a buffet comp (and no mention of a minimum bet - this was to a bunch of players all betting $5 hand).

My guess is you will receive a mailed offer soon, assuming your 6 hours was all in one day.

My standard offer from them is 2 nights + $25 food + $25 free bet. That is for an average of 4 hours per day @ $25/hand.

    Good Luck!

I was there for four nights in Feb and only played 4 hours or so per day of $.25-$1.00 JOB. Almost nothing in comps, which was as expected. I did, however receive a 2 free nights offer that I am using in a couple of weeks. I already had the reservation made when I received the offer, so I called and they not only applied the nights to my existing reservation, but without any prompting she offered to apply them to Friday and Saturday instead of the cheaper days.

    No complaints here.

I have never been been denied a comp @ the Orleans. The comp system is not bad. Play tables games and simply ask a floorperson to have a food comp sent to wherever you wish to eat. Hosts can also get spa/room/tickets comped.
