    that Sixteen Candles is one of my favorite movies?

    Another thing, did anyone else ever notice that there is a Stevie Ray Vaughn song in this movie?

    No, it's a good movie. I can't say it's my favorite, but it is a good movie.

    Dont know anything about the movie

    but the song,Sixteen Candles by Johnny Maestro and the Crests remains as a huge favorite for people in my age group esp. in the NY-NJ area . I've been priviliged to see Johnny live several times with his later group The Brooklyn Bridge.Johnny passed last year and soon all or most of the original pioneers of Rock and Roll will be gone. Too bad ,he still sounded as good as he did 50years ago.

    Yes, SRV played "Lenny" a song (no lyrics) written for his wife, Lenora.
    He also had a guitar with the same name, named after her
