Directions to heart attack grill

Hi, I'll be staying at the 'D' in August, and just for the novelty me and my wife want to try eating at the Heart Attack Grill.
Does anybody know if its a long walk from Fremont Street?

It's on Fremont Street. As you exit the D it's on your right, on the other side of Fremont, next to the bus stop.

Thanks Karl, I appreciate that, I have a mobility issue with my feet, thats why I was asking if it was a far walk, I'm good for about 15-20 min. before my feet act up on me.

Simple directions... dummy proof

check where the strip is ...

look for circus circus

look around until you see the Stratosphere (las vegas blvd)

keep going that direction ... until you see Heart Attack Grill on you left.... (note keep on LV Blvd on the right lane. DO NOT take the slight left youll see it...)

Umm, that sounds like directions coming from the strip . I will be staying downtown at the " D " , and hoping that the Heart Attack Grill, was just a few min walk...I have never ventured from the Fremont Street Exp., but look for Circus Circus, that sounds like a long walk from downtown.

Depending on which door you exit the D, you are looking at a 2 minute walk at most. If you know where Walgreen's is, it's on the same block, other side of the street.

 

Heart Attack Grill per mapquest is 1/10 of a mile from The D - a leisurely 2 minute walk. If you eat too much, it may take you 3 minutes on the return. LOL

 

I don't have a clue what these directions mean unless it's supposed to be a mistake, a cruel joke, or there's more than one Heart Attack Grill.

It's probably a 3 or 4 minute walk (if you have to wait for the light to change). Exit the D under the canopy and turn right (east) toward Walgreens. Cross the street, you'll walk right past Walgreen's, and it's on the left by LV Blvd. It's a short, safe, and easy walk – probably a heck of a lot safer than eating there!

 

Go to Fremont. Look away from Plaza. Walk. Look left lol. Eat.

 

Heart Attack Grill

The Heart Attack Grill is part of the Freemont Experience. I noticed it as I walked the two long blocks on the Freemont.

the nuke1 - Must have been in a joking mood to give you such lousy directions that confused everybody. Maybe that is how he manages to get
to the Grill by looking at all of the Strip hotels he has to pass to get to it.LOL.

My advise is that if you have mobility problems that means you have poor circulation on your feet for whatever reasons. Eating at the Grill will not be
a healthy place to eat for your body. But gives us a report if you do eat there. Maybe you should share a plate of food. Greasy fatty foods fill you up real fast. Nervous Nelly

 

Not to be picky, but the Fremont St Experience is considered to be the area under the canopy. That runs from Main St (Golden Gate or Vegas Club) east to LV Blvd. Five blocks, but only two have traffic cross streets. Casino Center Blvd & 4th St. The others have been blocked off.

Heart Attack Grill is east of Walgreens and east of LV Blvd, not under the canopy.

Hi Lucy, actually i have some nerve damage in my heel, that makes it difficult to walk for long periods, I weigh 150 lb's so not over weight ( yet ) so i'm thinking i might survive eating there..lol, Just intrigued over all the publicity this place is getting. Thanks again everyone for all your help..

There's am old ambulance parked on the sidewalk outside for looks (but it had a flat tire on it in March)!.

I wouldn't want to wear the hospital gown. They look stupid.

 

The Grill

Dana, I am so sorry you have nerve damage on your heel. I assumed wrong
because most people like me have that poor circulation problem.

Candy, I totally agree with you that the hospital gowns look silly. They are not serving hospital food.lol.

What? Are we supposed to take off our clothes and shoes and be prepared
and ready to just be taken to the hospital? LOL. Silly me.....

 

It's all a part of the experience. The diners are referred to as "patients" by the staff, the menu looks like a clinical report, the waitresses are dressed as nurses, and the manager is called a "doctor", and so on. Very tongue-in-cheek.

BTW, the windows used to be all open-view, but I guess there have been too many gawkers, because all but one are now covered up with artwork of the place itself.

Also, you might want to go upstairs and try Drink and Drag if you want to complete your experience. They usually have drag queens next to the ambulance, passing out free drink tickets. Quite a hoot as well.
