How disruptive is the construction at IP? Specifically the noise, and impact on the pool area?

Stayed at Harrahs 10 days ago. No problems there but since I was not in a room or near the IP pool I can't comment on that. Sorry. The front entry is closed up right now, they were making you walk through Harrahs to get to the IP casino from the strip the last 2 days I was there. My "guess" would be that it will totally depend on your exact dates. They are doing different things in stages. If you are unlucky enough to be there when they are doing something closeby and noisy it might be bad. I would "guess" that they will try to inconvenience guests as little as possible...or they will lose too much money in the casino.

I just got back yesterday from a 3-night stay at IP. They have fenced off a "path" to walk into the front entrance of IP from Las Vegas Boulevard. A few times that I walked through, the construction workers were cutting concrete and it was very loud (plug your ears loud) and they were taking out some of the ceiling panels near the front entrance (between IP front door and Rockhouse), so it was getting very dusty. It was a slight nuisance, but not a big deal.

They were also doing some work inside the IP casino near the Fat Tuesday bar. That was a bit loud at times, but not too bad.

I didn't visit the pool so I can't comment on that.
