I was there in January. They are having some financial difficulties (as rumor has it). There was to be some inter-acting by "mobsters" but they weren't there so they let us in for about $15 each. Half price??
More of a museum type atmosphere I think. Lots of personal items once owned or worn by the bad guys. A lot of comparing to the movie "Casino" which was apparently VERY accurate!
If your looking to "kill" an hour or two, I thought it was pretty good! Probably not go twice but very glad I went. Bought a cool t-shirt and shot glasses too.

    It was just ok.
The interaction part had potential but short lived.
The documentary was very interesting and about an hour long. If we didn't stay for the documentary we probably would have been in/out within 30 minutes.
Not worth full price but we did the discounted tickets.

Reports I've read say the one to visit is the big one (3 stories) towards
downtown. A good friend of mine on the LVA board said you
can spen hours in it and they'd go back.
If I can get her okay to post her info here, I will. She has lots of good
    tips.

I enjoyed it. I don't know if I would go back, but it was a fun way to spend an afternoon. I especially like the ladies in the mobbed up outfits at the end. :)

I went in April of 2011 and it was great - the interactive part - especially the end of the tour - was a whole lot of fun (the first actor that I was greeted by looked exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) like Robert DeNiro in Casino.

The number of actual items owned by legendary mob figures including guns, clothes and cars far exceeds the actual artifacts at the Mob Museum but I don't know how much of that stuff is still on display. There was so much trouble with the attraction last year that I don't think it is anywhere near what it was when I visited. I am glad I got to see it before it self-destructed because it was GREAT.

I also enjoyed the new Mob Museum downtown and would highly recommend it.

    Howdy
Just got back from Vegas and went on May 17.....I loved it :) spent a couple hours in there, lots of interaction! with live *mobsters* , lots of history via wall plaques, halograms of James Caan and Frank Vincent narrating , and excellent display of artifacts used (donated by the families) of the actual *mobsters* , such as a Car, guns, furniture, china, pictures, cards, even a phone directiory that lists OJ Simpson as a contact :confused2: , living in San Fran at the time ....nice video on the making of The Godfather too and the hoops they had to leap thru to get into production

Great way to spend a couple hours out of the heat and the casino heat lol
