Subs, heroes, hoagies, grinders, whatever your regional name.
Who has the best in LV? Show the love!
No Subway's, please-I refuse to set foot in those places. :vomit:

If you have access to a car, try to find a Capriotti's. Based out of Delaware, they have several outposts in Vegas. Their signature sandwich is the Bobbie, which is like Thanksgiving on a roll. An amazing hoagie.

Earl is probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

I'm a fan of Cappriotti's. When we drive in we stop and the one at Henderson and have a Bobby and a Capistrami (shredded pastrami and slaw). It's become a tradition for us.
My wife says she can't find a decent sub roll west of the Mississippi. Great Buns Bakery on Tropicana supplies Cappriotti's and a number of sub shops in Vegas. If we're driving, we'll pick up a couple of dozen on the way out.

Definately Capriott's, my favorite is an Italian sub and second would be a steak sub. Rolls
are the key the type of meat(s) used. If you're familar with an East Coast sub, be careful when ordering, I always order an Italian with everything, the sub came with mustard on it! !
I know now to be exact with what toppings I want, don't assume these Vegas kids know what a real sub should have on it :)
They have about 20 locations, I believe the closest to STRIP would be on Sahara

Italian sub with mustard? That should be a felony.

At the places here in S FL-the independent sub shops, the Italian stores, shoot, even Publix (grocery)-will ask "mayo & mustard?", and if you say "yes" to mustard usually the next question is "regular or spicy?" (i.e. Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard-NOT Dijon or Grey Poop On).

I say "No" and opt for Italian Seasoning and O & V.

Tnx all-The Earl is looking good.
