Which Hotel/Casino property has the best customer service (in terms of friendliness, can do attitude, values the customer's business and plain competence) on the strip. This includes casino personnel, front desk, and all people that come in contact with the public. Thanks in advance.:peace:

Every aspect of our stay at Ballys a couple weeks ago was awesome. The $20 trick worked, and everything was splendid. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

Of all my stays, and Paris being my regular, I just stayed at PH and did not run into one surly or snippy staffer.
Every single staff member I ran into was happy, nice, helpful and smiling (the dancing girls in the pleasure pit looked bored though)

    Everyone was super nice

I felt the customer service at Aria was excellent at all levels on my last trip.

Wynn has great customer service at the hotel/restaurant/casino level - but the management & hosting staff could learn a thing or two - from my experience they tend to be pretty arrogant.

I had a great experience at Vdara, everyone was so friendly, and helpful, and the valets remembered us. It was cool.

Worst for me was probably PH..

This is really hard to answer. On some trips or days I have great service and others , it goes downhill. Paris isvalmostbalwaysngreat, but being diamond might help.

With 50 trips to Vegas, I would love to hear your opinion.

Several good answers above, but I believe the Mandarin has taken over that mantle now.

I’ve never stayed at any of the casino-less places on the strip. I assume MO and Four Seasons are top notch.

But, if a casino is a must, then I don’t think anything is in the same league as Wynn or Encore. (Though, I will agree with Jilly from Philly that their hosts – and a handful of their clientele - are a bit full of themselves.) I’ve also been reasonably impressed with Aria, especially the casino employees, though it is a distant second, IMO.

At the mid-range places, I’ve always been treated well at Mirage, Paris and Monte Carlo.

I felt Bellagio’s service was seriously lacking a few weeks ago. But, to be fair, it was very busy. So, a few mistakes are to be expected, I suppose.

The service at Caesars’ Palace, in my experience, has been sub-standard. Certainly not the worst I’ve encountered, but at those prices, it should be much better.

Interesting that many, many hotels have been mentioned. Many/most LV visitors are very happy with their hotel experience since service is generally good all over town--tourism is their only product, it HAS to be good.

That said, I would put the following in contention for best service, in this order:

    Four Seasons
MO (never stayed personally but have visited 4-5 times)
    Wynncore
    Bellagio
    Aria
    Mirage

In spite of their efforts, the huge hotels on the strip can struggle with service when overwhelmed with crowds. FS/MO are small enough that crowding is not an issue which gives them a better degree of control.

Recent trips have left me very impressed with BALLY'S and COSMO.

The M has always impressed me too (though I've never stayed there).

    Palazzo is fair.

Tropicana is unpredictable (I've had wonderful experiences and I've had disappointing experiences) -- I think they're still finding their groove.

I get less enchanted with Wynn every time I visit.

stayed at aria in february and all aspects of service was terrific. from check in to bellman, valet, players club, sporst bar, buffet and i must say "the best cocktail service ever" for a strip property. oh yeah, craps dealers were pretty good too. we loved it but then again, we were only there for 2 days and it was a slower period. we are booked for a couple of nights in august so we'll get a chance to see if the service level is the same.
i also agree that service at the m is very good as well. it's a ways down the strip but a nice escape for a couple of days without having to leave the property. good luck all!

The Mandarin Oriental (best) and The Four Seasons (2nd best) are the only true customer service orientated hotels on the strip. Unless you are a High Roller, Vegas mega-resorts with 4,000 rooms cannot compete with the personalized attention they provide.

If you want to stay at a mega-resort I recommend Wynn/Encore.

As a frequenter of lower to mid level hotels, I can't say I've been completely blown away by the service I received at ANY of the ones I've stayed at on a whole. All had some great people I dealt with and some grumps and/or slow responders (to room issues, etc). These include:

    Sahara
    Excalibur
    TI
    Imperial Palace
    Mirage

I'm waiting to see about Caesars this Summer, but I never expect all around service to be perfect. No company can guarantee that every single one of their thousands of employees aren't gonna have a bad or off day every once in a while, especially with what I'm sure is at or near minimum wage for a large number of them. I wouldn't expect that every one of them takes pride in their job and loves what they do, especially 5-7 days a week, 50-52 weeks of the year.

Then again, I haven't yet stayed at any of the higher end hotels (Bellagio, Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, etc).

I give the Paris high all around marks. We hated to leave when we checked out. The Rio was hit or miss -- some good, some bad. Same for the Flamingo -- some good, some bad. We used to love the Luxor before they were owned by MGM. So many of the longtime employees remembered us and knew us by name. Lots of them are gone now. They are also hit or miss now, too. We've only stayed at MGM Grand once but I remember just about everyone being pretty nice there.

Bellagio's service has alway's been the best as far as i'm concerned. Everyone there alway's went above and beyond for us when we have been there.

I've had good luck at the Flamingo, but from all of the chatter I've heard here, I was hesitant to say so in fear of setting off a swarm of responses.

Four Seasons - we've stayed there at least 10 of our trips and love it! You simply do not have the nitpicky issues that sometimes occur at the mega-resorts. My second best is Aria Sky Suites. I realize that Aria in general may not be able to provide the same level of service due to the number of rooms, but the level of service at Aria Sky Suites was excellent. My third choice is Bellagio, but I haven't yet stayed at Mandarin Oriental.

dmr - exactly what I was thinking. Our service at Flamingo in March was exceptional as ever - I did not encounter one rude employee - and my travel companion who had never been to Vegas before even commented about how super nice everyone was. She felt they were over the top at Flamingo, Paris, Bills, Caesars, IP & Ballys. She kept commenting over & over again.

I'm not throwing this back at the OP on the other thread but it does happen - a lot of time the way they treat you is an immediate reflection of the initial way that you treat them, especially in a non-standard situation.

I'll use a Paris trip March 2011 as example. We came in after supper with 4 different rooms. It was 8:30?? & a Sunday evening on race weekend. I checked into my room in Diamond (sigh...last time) area with no issues. My g.f. checked into her/hubbys room at Platinum counter. When the boys went to check in at Platinum counter the girl starts right off the bat with no smoking rooms available they would have to take something else. My g.f. (who booked the rooms FIVE months earlier) stayed very polite but firm & indicated that wasn't acceptable. She didn't request an upgrade (standard room) but did say that they requested them 5 months earlier & they expected the request to be fulfilled. The girl kept on with 'well you can change later'. She still indicated that was not acceptable but NEVER raised her voice, never argued - just firm & polite. The girl then said she would put the boys in Red Room smoking rooms & my bff said that was fine - and asked if they would need to come down to change rooms the next day. Nope - they could keep those all 5 nights. By the time the check-in was done, even the clerk had relaxed to a point she hadn't been at when we got to the counter.

Now we all knew what happened & the girl did acknowledge it - a bunch of the race fans never bothered to check out. I'm sure the girl had been getting yelled at, probably sworn at, and encountered a ton of angry people who let her know in no uncertain terms how displeased they were with their rooms not being as booked. However, the politeness & calmness & logic did win out in this situation. If a customer heads back down to the desk & immediately starts screaming & yelling they will probably get nowhere. You can always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

So I also say nearly all of the CET props & I will acknowledge that the Sahara had some of the friendliest people in town also. They were 5 star both times I stayed there & every time I played there & my bff used to stay there also and also loved the personnel.

Orleans was both good & bad but nothing bad enough to warrant writing about. Bellagio basically always good & average at the very least.

    Easter again..:
