Dinner For 12...

Just curios if anyone had any recommendations on a restaurant for a group of 12 on a Saturday night.

Looking for a nice place, but nothing to fancy.

Probably looking for a steakhouse, but we are open to other suggestions too.

Has anyone ever been to Fix inside the Bellagio?

Opinions?

 

I've not been to Fix for a few years, I enjoyed it when I went and would be good for a group before a night out I'd say.

Striphouse in PH is another I thought was very good when our group of 8 ate there in 2010. Good food, good service and the price was very reasonable too.

 

i've been to Fix many times. great place all around, although the last trip left something to be desired. but it was very busy and i was very tired, so i won't hold that against them. it's not a steakhouse though. if you want a steakhouse, go with Prime.

 

are all of you staying in the same place? and where is that?

i infer from your post that nice but not fancy means cost is at least a secondary consideration, so if a bunch of you have to take 20 dollar cab rides to and from that might make a difference.

a steakhouse that delivers and does not break the bank would be embers in imperial palace. not a big room, so a reservation would be necessary, especially on a saturday, but i think that applies anywhere.

 

We are staying at Encore.

I know in my original post I asked about a steak house. That is not the only option we are open to.

Any places with a modern/contemporary feeling that serves American cuisine?

Since u have so many good dining options nearby this should be easy. Botero is great for steaks and going with a large group so that is my recommendation.

 

I missed that u wrote saturday night, just remember its right next to XS and it if u want something quiet go somewhere else. Its great for people watching since a lot of people go there before hitting the club.

 

I always say the same thing for groups.... Grand Luxe. Something for everybody.

 

La Salsa Cantina or The Cheesecake Factory at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

U can eat at Tao and then get into the nighclub for free. Great party atmosphere and good food.
