    Hi everyone
I'll be staying 5 days in Las Vegas, specifically at the Flamingo. I was wondering if anyone knew if it's possible to send me mail packages there for the days I'll be staying there, if I happen to buy something online, via amazon.com or other online stores...
Can it be done? Would I have to wait until I know my room number? though that would make the times tight for delivery...
Any input you can give me would be appreciated!

I have had mail at Mandalay Bay and the GNLV - both held mail and parcels at the business center.

There is a UPS store inside the Flamingo, I've had some lost credit cards sent there with no problem.

There is some sort of handling fee that most (all?) hotels charge for receiving a package. The UPS store charged $5...Mandalay bay charges $10.

Policy and reality might be at odds.

Though hotels work at getting stuff to you, understand it is a large LARGE organization with many departments. Lots of stuff coming and going. Should be fine, but you gotta find it.

    Thanks so much.
I guess the UPS store in the Flamingo will come in handy. Should I address the packages in a special way so they'll be held there specifically?

I've had letters and parcels sent to me several times in Las Vegas at various hotels.

Only hassle was a UPS package which was misrouted a few years back, and that was a nightmare to get sorted out!

Yes, there is always a charge.

I've had multiple shipments sent to TI, Paris, NYNY and Mirage. They all handled them for me and sent up to the room.

This happens on a daily basis at the Strip hotels because of all the convention / conference business they have. I've never had any lost packages or mail issues.

They have their own address so as long as its

    Name name
    UPS Store #xxx
    Xxx S LV BLVD
    LV, NV 89xxx

    You should be fine.

I've had it done in the past with no charge at Sahara, MGM and Bally's.

OK, great. I don't think there will be any problem then. And a fee of $5 or $10 is acceptable (though I hope I'm lucky and they don't charge).

I work in a large distribution center in the direct to consumer divsion (aka internet orders). The way our CS suggest addressing items going to hotels is:
    First and last name
    Guest of: Hotel name
    address
    zip

Note the reason I suggest putting "Guest of" is incase there is a hotel employee with the same name and so they know its for a guest and not a mistake.

I shipped a box containing the bulk of my luggage to Treasure Island last year. They charged me $30.

Yeah, I also thought I should indicate I'm a guest. Considering all the staff they have, it could be confusing, should an employee have the same name. Thanks :)

I used to do this all the time for trade shows and I just sent a package to the Paris. The guy at the post office highlighted the bottom part for me so it stood out that I was a guest and my arrival dates, etc.
Hopefully this will be easy to find when I arrive on the 11th.

On second thought I don't know if I should have put my confirmation number on the package, but too late now.

Here's how I addressed my package:

    Paris Las Vegas
    3755 Las Vegas Blvd S
    Las Vegas NV 89109

    ATTN ; Guest Name
    Arrival Dates May 11-14
    Confirmation # . Host Name

Thanks, I think I'm going to use the exact same format you used, but I don't think it's necessary to put my reservation number :confused2:
