Does anyone here besides myself love the way that the Aria casino/hotel smells? Or, does a casino/hotel have a smell that makes you want to get sick?

Aria smells wonderful but I can't describe it. Mandalay Bay is like coconut which I like. MGM smells like bath salts to me, but it isn't bad.

    Anyone else?

I never noticed a smell while playing there this March. I actually really like the Trops casino scent for some reason.

I love the casino scents. I wish there was a way to capture it in a candle or spray so I could spray it around my house!

    Aria’s is definitely my favorite.

I don’t have problems with any of them but Venetian's. And I think that’s only because it is so damn strong. Of course, I haven't been there in a while...perhaps it has changed?

i don't think i've ever smelled something memorable in a casino other than smoke. but the citrus scent when you first walk into the Mansion from the front entrance is amazing! never smelled anything like it anywhere else. i just want to stand there and smell it all day ...

also the scent in the Skylofts is good and very memorable. not really sure what it is, but sometimes i get a smell of something at a random time and it brings me right back to getting off the elevator in the Skylofts and makes me wish i were in Vegas.

I tend to be sensitive to certain chemicals (smells)

the lobby at Vdara just about kills me.

Aria is great. Venetian is different, but very noticeable. Does not cause physical issues for me. No real like or dislike.

Never noticed anything in CET properties.

Last couple times I was at Casino Royale they had vomit scents running. Seriously though the only memorable scent I can think of is Tropicanna. Looking forward to Mandalay Bay's this weekend.

I LOVE the coconut smell of the Flamingo. It reminds me of vacation and I look forward to the smell every time I walk in.

I absolutely cannot stand the Venetian "incense" smell. I blew off going to a show there soley because that smell gave me the worst headache ever.

THEhotel, love that scent they pipe in there so much we bought some diffusers last trip for the house, it's similar to MBs but less cocnutty. The only ones I really cant stand are Venetian and Aria, more for how damn strong they are than the actual scent.

Spent a little time gambling at Plaza this last trip and couldn't stand the odor in the casino. Perfumy and just overwhelming.

Best Casino Smells in order of greatness: 1) The Western (retired) 2) Bill's (right by the bar the odor of Vegas is STRONG!) 3) IP 4) Casino Royale 5) Mermaids (back by the food court)

In all seriousness though, there is something strangely appealing about a rank smelling casino. It just smells like Vegas to me. Call me strange, but something about the musty/beer/piss/vomit/smoke/booze smell just makes me feel at home :)

The smell of Aria was wayyy to strong for me. Felt like someone smacked me with some vanilla beans when I walked in the door. I actually like all the other smells, even the venetian didn't bother me...but Aria was just way over the top.

Most I don't notice. But because of the smell in the Venetian I can't even walk in the place. Although not in a Casino by far the worst smell in Las Vegas is that sewer smell in front of CP if it's still there!!

LOL I thought it smelled like death...or maybe that was the vibe

Mermaids- set foot in there for the first time last month and I threw up in my mouth a little, that stench of grease was disgusting :vomit:

I love the way you open those heavy doors into the Mirage and you get hit with a cool breeze and a tropical scent. It always means "We've Arrived" to the hubby and me.

TI used to smell real good too -- last visit it seemed different, didn't smell the same.

Venetian is a heavy smell, still good but a little much.

MGM is a good one too. I LOVE Vegas scents....sometimes my husband and I will be out somewhere and catch a whiff of something....I'll say "Oooh doesn't that smell remind you of Vegas?" and I'm only talking about the good smells here!

I had forgotten about TI's scent, but you are right, I have always liked it! But, that is certainly another one that is difficult to describe?!?

    I like Wynn/Encore's scent.

Most other scents I don't like very much, although I prefer them to the stink of stale smoke.
