I just checked the vpFREE2 site and it seems that 33% of the full pay deuces wild machines are gone. That leaves just 6 slant tops having full pay deuces wild. Can anyone confirm this. I'm hoping that the vpFREE2 site is incorrect.

I'm told those MIA machines are not MIA, they were simply moved to a different spot in the same area. I'll check that out when we get to the casino.

    Do the casinos read vpFREE2?

Well, if you're the slot manager at any given casino it would be part of your job description to do some research, and as they used to say in the big war, WW2, loose lips sink ships.

I recently had undertaken my own personal research mission to find some of the better offerings listed on vpFREE2, and found that the machines in question had been either removed or moved in the majority of cases, and yes I was reasonably sober but didn't want to spend half my vacation tracking down decent VP. I did however spend an unreasonable amount of time doing so and I'm sure my wife will attest to that as she as well likes VP and has the sense to try to play on machines with decent pay backs.

Yes folks, those are getting harder to find as the new mind set of corporate Vegas is to turn the place into an adult Disneyland making gambling less important to the bottom line in terms of revenue.

I cite the new construction between Harrah's and the Imperial Palace/Flamingo with it's giant Ferris wheel, "The Las Vegas High Roller", and other attractions, restaurants and retail businesses, and the demise of the Carnival Court, which was one of my faves as far as hanging on the strip.

So gang, it's off to the locals casinos for me when it comes to finding decent playable Video Poker. And even then, there's no guarantee I'll win, but at least I'll have a fighting chance.

Wow, your local casinos must have much better paytables then here. Some have the nerve to do 6/5 JOB, of course they are always busy. Or 6/5 Bonus.

Joe I think Ben is referring to the locals casinos in Vegas such as Station Casinos.

Not the way I read it, but I've been wrong before. He's in CA and was talking about "local" casinos, so I assumed he meant casinos in CA.

Don't worry, Cruiser, we just got back from Vegas and stayed at Aliante for 2 nights. They definitely had more than one bank of full pay Deuces. I think there were three banks. They even had a bank of full pay DDB progressives! I've never seen that before. We really enjoyed our stay there, even though we lost our a**. Better luck to you!

Joe, I am sure he is referring to Vegas local places. There is no good FPVP in CA. At least I know that's one of the reasons I haven't stayed on the strip for probably my last 20 trips.
