    My Trip Report

    OK!!!
    Damn, so much to say...
I left L.A. on late Wednesday night so I could get some sleep before I met everyone (no one likes a tired ass homo)and I am not a morning person. I ended up staying at Buffalo Bills in Primm the frist night because I have so many free rooms there that I could host my own convention. Well, since it was so crowded in Vegas that week even Primm was full. I ended up sweet talking a reservations supervisor on the phone ("Don't you know who I am????") and secured a room with the understanding that I had to buy her a beer upon my arrival. No problem, I can swing a beer. So it only took me 3 hours to get there after just breaking the speeding law minorly (is that a word?) I first went to meet her and get the beer out of the way. She was happy and said that no one ever keeps their word. I looked at it as a way to have a casino connection but kept that to myself. I mean, its still just Primm. Good thing I went to meet her because I won a thousand bucks at the bar video poker and then took off to get some sleep. I knew I had to be beautiful for the next day.
Thursday rolls around and I really dont remember the morning but fast forward to me at the Plaza at about 3pm. I was looking for Becky (Coaster Kikky) whom I had been talking to online prior to the trip. I instantly spotted her at a full BJ table and figured it was other T2V'ers so I stood behind it for a while to figure out who was who. After a couple minutes I introduced myself to Becky and it turned out that she was the only one from the board at the table. We then caught up with Doctor AL and Rambill. I was on a mission to get a room downtown because I knew I would be totally f'd up by nightfall and my room was in Primm. I luckily (that is questionable) got a room at the Horseshoe . So after a while the 4 of us decided it was time to go to MSS to meet the rest of the crew. There I met Jack21, Neon, Vegasbound, blackjack, 3cats, HurricaneMikey, Vegas Jer (who didnt even know me but was nice enough to invite me to stay in his suite- thank you very much!), ah, who else...Bastardo was pointed out to me but I didnt meet him. Also, Becky's husband John. At this point I was already harboring many drinks so please forgove me if I omitted anyone. So we all acquainted and got our eat on. P.S. the next thing i knew, everyone was walking out of the restaurant and I did not put any money toward the bill and I felt really bad about it...someone told me that it no big deal, I think it was Mikey, but I still feel bad so drinks on me next year!. We gambled a little bit and Neon, Vegasbound and I decided to hit the bar while everyone else was playing craps. We had some fun shots and good conversation. By the time we wrapped that up. everyone had disappeared. We figured we would either run in to everyone or that most people had just formed thier own little cliques and were off. Actually, I called someone (Al?)and he said that everyone was at the LV Club so we headed ther and somehow ended up playing nickel video poker in some dark corner of the casino. Needless to say, we didnt reconnect with anyone. (Oh wait! I remember shrimp cocktails or something at the Golden Gate and Hurricane Mikey at a table with his buddy)

Sorry folks, this is where it starts becoming a little blurry.

Ok, so NOW we are at nickel video poker. This is the location where Vegasbound, Neon and I engage in some very deep conversation and there is laughter, tears and drinks. Oh, I forgot to mention that we stopped at La Bayou for some drinks. Mine had Everclear in it so you can probably guess where I am at this point. Actually, I wasn't feeling too bad, but in hindsight I was probably a lot more f'd up than I thought. The conversation was amazing and I tink we all got a little something out of it. Kellee (Vegasbound) was slightly more intoxicated that Neon or I (she is also a small girl who I fed too many shots to at the bar) and we decided that based on slurred speech and the fact that her husband was at work that we should drive her home. The drunks leading the drunk, nice. So we did and it worked out. It seemed like it took two hours to get to her place, and 10 minutes to get back. Neon and I arrived downtown and were debating on whether or not to call anyone (actually I think I might have) and then decided to call it a night. Of course while walking back to my room , I got side tracked by the familiar white glow of the Golden Nugget so I stopped in , won another thousand bucks and called it a night.

This ends my T2V experience, so the rest of my trip report will be brief, yet engaging and terribly hilarious.

The whole point of my trip was to do a BJ tournament at Sams Town (my friends and I kept laughing that a gay guy doing a "BJ" tournament is funny) and the T2V thing was a big bonus.

I checked in to Sams Town and gambled and slept. I had every intention of meeting up again at the Voodoo lounge with everyone, but it didnt work out that way. I met with a friend an we had dinner and went to see The Fashionistas at Krave. The dancing was spectacular but the show is boooooring. Krave is also "the only alternative club on the strip" so we hear there is going to be a drag show so we stick around. We ahev a drink or 5 and its obvious that the cocktail server is in to me (free drinks and ass grabbing) so my date starts getting weird so we leave. There were only like 50 people in there anyway.
Sidenote=I got the servers number and we made tentative plans for Sunday night.

Saturday, I lose the BJ tournament (I think its because I'm bi) and go back to bed.

I go with the same friend to go see La Cage and dinner. I love La Cage and it turns out that I had run into the guy that plays Britney Spears and we had some conversation. It was a good time. We then meet up with his cousin and decided to go shake our asses. We end up at Carnaval Court at Harrah's at about 1:30am and get our groove on a little bit and before we know it they close. 3am! It's a damn shame. Secretly, I was so happy because I was about to pass out.

Sunday comes and goes. I decide not to go to Barbary Coast (a bunch of guys ogling Typhinie is not my idea of fun). I flake on the cocktail server but I keep his number for admission and free drinks next time. Plus, he's a cool guy.

Monday I am a good boy and go visit my Great Grandmother. I should have been on my way home, but as you can tell, I am very chatty and so is my Grandma so I stayed there way too long. I stay in Primm on more night, lose MORE money and come home sad on Tuesday.

    Things I learned:
I cant wait until the next MM. I loved hanging out with the T2v crew. I wish this is what I did all weekend.

Rambill took a picture of me that hasn't seen the light of day yet.

I will never be in Vegas for more than 3 nights again.

I will stay at one NICE hotel my entire stay.

I will only play Video Poker at a bar because that is where you win.

I will never win in the beginning of my trip and blow it all by the end.

Neon is a great catch for all you ladies.

Typhinie should PM me so we can hang out in LA.

I am a singer and I am envious of Becky's lung capacity and volume.

MM3 is just a year away, start packing!

I had a great time meeting everyone. It was slightly surreal, and everyone is genuine and amazing. I feel lucky to be a part of this board.

Oh Lord, did I get too drunk and start singing? And if so, why did no one stop me? I did notice Pauly that you did not say you mention my pitch... nice ;) (and I used to be a singer myself, years ago)

Paul! Great to get your perspective. I was asking about you yesterday, you were quite elusive in others's reports and I was beginning to think you were a CIA agent of something. Sounds like you had a great time.

P.S. LMAO at the BJ tournament comment. THAT, my friend, is funny!

Enjoyable TR, Paul...definitely a unique perspective. Good meeting you and sharing a few sashimi.

But for the record, we weren't just ogling Typhinie at the BC...pretty much all femmes involved got a share and I found it quite alot of fun.

Oh, I DID forget about the nickels! LOL, good stuff. I was kidding about the Typhinie thing, it was kind of a set up for me telling her to PM me. I"m still a little drunk so it probably only made sense to me

Fabulous recap, Pauly! Sounds like you ended up with some nice wins. Sorry you didn't win the BJ tournament, I was rooting for you. I'm going to have to see La Cage. Also, the first chance I get, I'll see 'Rent'...I promise! Great times! As Ron had mentioned, you are my knight in shining armor. Next time though, I think I'll eat something! ;)

I kinda figured that was your phone number that kept showing up on my "missed calls" list (by that time I wasn't paying attention to the phone, or able to).

Great meeting up with you, man. [IMG]

And there wasn't much ogling going on at BC... atleast none I was aware of... damn brown hair...

But I really enjoyed your trip report! I still need to learn VP. I guess I play it wrong because I never win ANY money on it.

No big deal about the bill.....I had a $100 comp that I put towards it.Next year I will make them comp the whole damned thing.

I vaguely remember meeting you....hopefully we will spend some more time together next year.

And for those of you who weren't there lets say we make it 30 people next time.

Kinda seems like the brew pub at MSS was bursting at the seams with T2Vers as it was--could they handle a larger group next year??

Paul--it's nice to get a trip report from you--it's been a while!! Sorry to hear you didn't do well in the BJ tourney--maybe you need more practice?? [IMG]

Ah, funny Hoya! Practice makes perfect I guess. It has been a while since I played (are we on the same page here?) I am so lazy when it comes to TR's. I had a really good one in the works from Superbowl weekend and I let it slip away......Thank you Steve for the comp, I vaguely remember meeting you as well. I am definitely going to make a point next year of meeting everyone face to face. I think we should have a pre-party party in a suite somewhere. Typh, drinks for sure, we are like 15 minutes from each other! We'll have some wine and laughs.
