    My Trip Report

I think this is where I left off:

Well, we all got our tickets to Thunder from Down Under. I was VERY tired. I think I only had about an hour and a half of sleep the night before. I decided to take a short nap. I parted from my friends and went to THEHotel cab line. It's a lot less crowded than the regular MB cab line and I got a cab right away.

It was still pouring outside. When the cab drove through the flooding at the entrance to Bellagio, I swear our car floated for a few seconds.

I grab a glass of wine from the bar and take it up to my room. I turned on Ellen and quickly dosed off. I didn't not have a good nap however becasue every few minutes I would here a fire truck on the street blaring it's sirens. Another reason I was pissed at Bellagio- I could hear the Street traffic!

Well, my friends and I started to get ready to go out around 4:30. We had dinner reservations at Roy's at 6. Then we were going to see Thunder at 8;30, then off to Foundation Room.

Of course we were late to making it to dinner. There was a cab shortage at Bellagio and the line didn't move. We didn't even get into a cab until 6:10 for our 6:00 reservation!

Roy's was actually quite empty on Monday night. We had GREAT service there. I ordered the guava mojito (Thanks CoasterKiKi!) and the seared Ahi. It was very good. I can't remember what my friends ordered but I know they were pleased. Our bill came to be about 130 for the 3 of us. The server was nice enough to call her friend who works at Mix (new lounge a top THEHotel) and put us on the list over there. We granted her with a very nice tip becasue she really did go above and beyond!

Off to the Excalibur. I hate to say it, but I really hate this place. It smells weird and it just has this bad vibe to me. I can't even explain it... I just don't get a good feeling when I go in there...

I got 2 kamakazi shots at the bar before going in the theater. There was no way I was going to see Thunder From Down Under Sober!

When I got inside, I got 2 more shots and 2 vodka tonics. Finally, I could relax and enjoy the show. The show was REALLY cheesy. I am convinced that all their accents are fake and they actually grew up in Nebraska. The boys seemed to be taking a liking to my friends. At the end of the show, the boys wanted to meet us at Mix. They never did show up (Thanks god) but it was still cool that they hit on us!

Mix is a really cool venue. You go up a glass elevater thats open to the strip. There's no feeling like going up 60 floors seeing the gorgeous lights! It's dark inside with a great view of the strip. I think it's better than Foundation Room's view because it's up a little higher. The place is also bigger than Foundation Room and has a better "look". The bathrooms are little individual rooms with floor to ceiling windows facing the strip. It's so weird! To be peeing and to be looking outside to a perfect night!

Bill meet up with us there and we had a couple drinks. One of my friends was in a bad mood so she left around 1. I was still ready to party and Mix was a little slow so we headed over to Foundation Room.

On the way to Foundation Room, I had theis overwhelming good feeling about this slot. I had to stop and play. I put 3 dollars in it... and I thin k I cashed out at 50... not too bad for 20 seconds of play! I did this several times during my trip, and I always came out a little bit ahead.

Foundation Room was packed but we all went up right away. Bill, my friend and I went straight to the 80's rooms to get drinks and enjoy the music. I ran into one of the guys I made out with the night before at Body English. He has a table tonight and invited us over. Free drinks! YES!

Before we went over there, Bill knew the magician there, who by the way, AMAZED ME! He was actually freaking me out! Maybe it was the alcohol in me, but he was just a lot of fun.

We go over to the table and I start really hitting it off with this guy that I met the night before. He's cute, funny, and we're just having a great time. My friend started feeling sick so she left with Bill to get some food. I stayed at Foundation Room a little longer and let's just say I went back to the hotel after that. [IMG]

I woke up at 6:30 in the morning throwing up. It wasn't a drunk throw up, more like a violent I cant- control- this throw up. I think I thre up about 6 times before Ifinally fell asleep. Maybe it was the seared ahi? Or maybe just too much booze and not enough sleep... Anyway I woke up a couple hours later still feeling crappy.

We checked ou of the hotel room and just headed for the airport. My friends had gotten breakfast at Paris Buffet with out me! I knew I needed to eat, but I just couldn't.

At th airport, on of my friend's was "randomly searched" I thought this was so funnY! We wanted to take a picture but we got in trouble for it!

Finally we sat down at that sports bar in the airport. I can't remember what it's called (Touchdowns or something like that). Well, we've eaten there before and it was really bad and I can't believe we are back a second time. I got some nacho's that I didn't eat.

Finally the plane was boarding and I was on my way to bed...

    Final thoughs:

~I still never made it downtown! I hate my friends sometimes!

~Didn't sit down at 1 table! Again- I hate my friends sometimes!

~I ended up being up from gambling though. I only spent $125 in vegas all together, which means my cab rides and a lot of my food were paid for by my small amount of play I did.

~Vegashost was awesome! We all had a great time hanging out.

~I love Vegas cab drivers! A lot of them are so hilarious! It makes my trip!

~I can't wait to go back! ALl th drinking, smoking, and lack of sleep just amkes me want to go back for more!

~What happens in Vegas... stays in VEgas.

Thanks so much for reading, guys! Sorry if this part was kind of boring. I really don't remember a lot of this trip because I was too intoxicated! I swear I'm not an alcoholic- I'm just 21!

Great trip report as usual Typh.

I wouldn't feel bad about not making it downtown, I doesn't sound like you would have had time for it anyway. It's always something you can do on your next trip.

It's always nice to come back knowing that you won money to help pay for your trip.

It also sounds like you made the right choice in going and having a good time. I'm sure, other than the getting sick part, it was a big stress relief. Maybe there was something going around, while he was there FalconRob got sick too.

Ahh, I wouldn't worry too much about all the drinking you did. You were in Vegas and having fun.

Thanks for sharing what you remember.

You only spend $125. Wow. Honestly, wow.

One thing I was wondering: would you not recommend Bellagio based on your stay? It sounds like you really hated it there.

YoungGun: I wouldn't say I hated it. I loved the hotel itself. It has the friendliest staff and a good casino. I only paid 109 per night for the room, so I wasn't too disapointed, but I would have been if I paid any more. It was a little better than average room/ bathroom. The rooms at Venetian and THEHotel were a lot nicer and most of the time, about the same price as Bellagio. The one thing I did like was when someone would ask me where I was staying, and when I told them, they were impressed!

Yeah, $125- thats all my food, cabs, alcohol, 2 shirts I bought, cigarettes, and everything else! I can't complain!

Type - My parents also stayed @ the Bellagio and said the same things. They said over all they were disapointed with their stay. They said it was nice but they would rather use the extra $$ spent on their hotel room some place else. They said their rooms were just about the same to Paris.

Thanks for the Trip Report [IMG] . Nice that you got a break from real life even if it were just for a couple of days!

Typh, you little devil! I like that leading comment about just going back to your room. Yeah Right. (you know I'm just teasing)

All I can say is: me, you, MM2 baby!

I'm so very glad you took the trip instead of staying home. It does a body good to get away from such situations and party like you REALLY want to. Kudos my friend!

That wasn't boring at all. Wait till I finally post a trip report. Compared to your trips, mine will be a stimulant for sure. In regards to the Trashy Castle, I couldn't agree more.

Sounds like you were really able to take care of business in a nice compact two-day trip.

Are you still vomiting?- is this mainly a morning occurence for you? Did you check an ePT?

Who paid for your hotel room?

No, I didn't take an ePT! It would be impossible for it to be possitive! It's been a LONG time since anything exciting like that happened! And yes, the vomitting has stopped... just a one time thing.

And we did pay for the hotel... We all paid $80.

    Thanks for reading guys!!

Leave it to the M.D. on the board to ask those questions a woman least wants to hear! LOL. You forgot "are your breasts getting sore?" (That's how my ex knew she was in the family way...)

The ePT question was purely for humor, Bill; and as far as the other question you post...after her 2nd night, do we even need to ask? [IMG]

Typh, so glad you enjoyed Roy's! It's always nice when you hear confirmation of your opinion [IMG] That guava mojito is nice, isn't it? I could use one (or 2...) right about now...

CoasterKikky: Roy's was very good. I am glad I enjoyed it because thy are opening one up right by my house, and I have several friends who got jobs there- which means I get hooked up! Guava mojito was good- I was shocked at how strong they were. I had 2 and was pretty tipsy!

I can't wait to go back! It's looking better about MM... I'll probably make it down then to meet all you fine people! Thanks for reading!
