    My Trip Report

Hi everyone, I just thought i would do my duty and post my trip report since i just got back.Me and the wife decided Thursday night at 10:30 we wanted to go to Vegas since Allegiant air out of Lansing Mich was running a special 79 each way direct flight. So hurried up and packed and we were off the next morning.

Got into town at 9 a.m. The free drinks started pouring at 10. We played a mixture of slots and blackjack. More drinks. One thing i noticed was that all the mini-jackpots on the slots seemed to be alot higher than normal. Won a hundred on the nickels lost money on some others won a couple hundred on a qaurter machine upstairs lost money on some others. More drinks. Ok I don't remember the name of the slots i played because as i mentioned earlier, the free drinks started at 10 for me. And i mean free because we were invited down as part of the Whirlwind of cash promotion that my wife got in on in July. So we didn't even have to be gambling to get our drinks for the weekend. We did something i have never done in Vegas and crashed in the room around 10:30.

Well now it's Saturday morning and we get up at 6 and i count my money to find out i was even.Yeahh
I consider that a winning Friday. We had up to the 12th floor ballroom where they had a breakfast for us at 9:30 and on the casino floor by 11. Now this is where it starts to go bad. I start loosing for about the next 3-4 hours on everything i touch. I find myself down about 600. So i start playing the .50 cent machines by the bar with a $8300 jackpot and i hit for $540. Great, only down about a hundred now. Play a few slots and stay even, still good. I watch my wife play for a while and then i go sit at the bar to talk to a lady i met the night before and i throw a 20 into the video poker. Well low and behold on my last 5 credits i get the royal for $3098.50. FANTASTIC,trip is now paid for and money to go back on in 2 weeks on them.

We have to leave for the airport at 9:30 pm so now i start getting a little crazy with betting and i give my wife $100 and tell her to play roulette $25 a hand on black or red untill she looses it or doubles it. It took about 5 minutes and she doubles it. She goes to walk away and i ask her what she thinks it will be and she tells me red. So now i'm feeling brave(she says stupid)but its a fine line there. Anyways i throw a hundred on red. Well now i'm gloating it took me about 5 seconds to do what it took her 5 minutes to do. It was getting time to go so we make are rounds and tell our bartenders and other friends we,ve made over the years good bye. My shortest trip so far but my most profitable. Between the 2 of us we left with about $3400 more than we arrived with. Sorry for the length, i just couldn't wait to make a trip report on here since i,ve been reading everyone elses for about a year now.
If you made it to the end Thank you.

Thanks for the great trip report, I really enjoyed it. I think that's so cool that you just decided one night and went the next morning. I've always wanted to do that, it's got to be so much easier than sitting here and watching your countdown clock!! Glad to see you made some money. Some day I'm gonna figure out how to do that [IMG]

Nice report! Did you like Allegiant? I've flown them twice and really enjoyed their flights.

The best trips are those decided upon almost instantly. I love those types of Vegas trips! Glad to hear you won making it even better of course!
