    My Trip Report

My wife and I are leaving in 3 hours!!!! Cant wait to get there! We get into Vegas at 11:00pm local time. We will be there untill Saturday. Then we are driving to LA to visit a friend. Flying out of LAX back to Wisconsin. I will post reports as often as i can. We are going to try to find the most economical way to spend a few days in vegas.
First, we booked the 3 nights at Flamingo thru lasvegas.com and got a killer deal. Total came to $150.
The flight was only $210 per person round trip.
We will be looking for the best free and "less expensive" things to do while on the strip. I will let everyone know what i find. Stay tuned for more info. I will post again tomorrow when we get up. It's going to be a long night.

Lots of free and inexpensive stuff to do

You will have a good time. Nice deal for the plane tickets.

Caesars for the talking statues, Palazzo for the human statues, Venetian for the traveling minstrels, Venetian for the singing gondola guys(you walk and listen and let other tourists pay for it), TI Pirate Show(I think it is still on), Rio(parade in the Sky, take free shuttle from Bally's or Harrah's over to Rio.)

Bellagio garden. Bellagio World's largest chocolate fountain in the candy store walk past the garden to the left side. You cannot touch it, but you can look at it and at the candy in the store. Bellagio water fountains.

Wynn, walk into the Ferrari store and look around at Ferrari stuff. If you own a Ferrari you can talk your way into the museum for free and maybe go down to the garage and talk with some of the other owners and look at more really, really cool Ferraris and other cars.

Mandalay Bay, pretty cool lobby. MGM watch the lions. Mirage used to have a volcano out front they still might but it was under maintenance on my last trip so it was either being remodeled or maintained.

The Stripper Bar at the Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood. No idea as someone else just posted about this but it is on my to do list for my next trip to check it out.

Be sure to register for a card at every casino if you have not for the freebie promotions.

Downtown, Fremont Street Experience. Of course, you have to GET there somehow.

Carnival Court at Harrah's as Showtenders which are the bartenders that throw the bottles around and pour, called flair. Fun to watch them drop a bottle. Rio has this also at the bar at the dead end of their shops.

Even though you will be taking it all in, and there's sooooo much to take in, don't forget to just sit and people watch for a while. A highlight I have every trip is the opportunity at each meal, to discuss the things we witnessed in the past few hours. You'll just shake your head, honestly.

Bear in mind there are some promo's, like in the ACG, that only apply to new slot club signups, so you're giving those away if you've signed up previously for nothing.
