    My Trip Report

    I made it!!!!!!!!!

I guess I can morph this into a Semi-Live TR

Flight pushed back right on time, scooted down to de-ice and lost only 30 minutes there.
Half full flight, plenty of room!

Went to McCarran and got my rental from Enterprise, a chrysler 300. Nice ride (3.5 vro0000oms)
Needed to pickup some goodies to bring home, so I stopped at the Sahara and had some $1 shots (U keep the glass) It turns out I never had a card there (really?) Got some FSP on the daily free spin and turned it into $10.00

Checked into the elco (where I am now) and got Cabana Suite 6213. A suite it is not...it is a room. But a very nice room, clean comfortable with a nice working area and a big tv with all HD channels. (3.75 ahhs)

Had $15 FSP as part of my offer so I played some 9/6 JOB MSP STP Jacks or better Mutli-strike supertimes pay. (mouthfull I know) Had a nice machine mate next to me and had a great conversation. I was drinking plenty of southern comfort at that time, and decided to do the most degen thing that you can do in vegas.

The ELCO Gamblers Gourmet. For those of you who dont know, they bring a room service trolley right to your slot machine. I had grilled cheese, cole slaw and a basket of onion rings. All was very very good. (3 forks) I charged it to my room (got $25 free food as well)

Stopped by LOVO cigar on Fremont and got 3 maduro churchills, good draw and a nice finish (3.5 puffs)
P.S. Later on the wrapper on one flaked off, the guy had no problem giving me another one N.C.

Very fuzzy at this point, but this is what I think happened.

Played craps at GG, nice table, shitty results -$80

Every year I say I will take a shot at some VP, every year I lose! Never again! Lost $220 playing at the 4Q in the brewpub while puffing and sipping hardway IPA (4 gulps) It is a ice crisp hoppy brew.

Then I played every top dollar slot in the building trying to eek out small profits on each. I think I did, cant be sure....way too drunk.

Went over to the Fitz and played spanish 21. At the Fitz you are allowed to reddouble your double downs twice, really neat rule variation if you have the stones for it. Great on soft totals. Can get pricey $10, 10 reg double down. Next double $20 Next double $40

Ended up winning $75 and had the whole table tipping the dealer, she was thrilled.

End over to Elco and grinded through single deck blackjack for 3 hrs and lost 90.

Went to PGP and there was this absolutely miserable dealer....didnt even thank for tokes!!!!!! I HATE THAT, IT GIVES GOOD DEALERS A BAD RAP AND CAN RUIN THE LIVELYHOOD OF THE WHOLE SHIFT. Her shitty attitude costs all the other dealers on the shift money.

    Ended up winning about $100.

All told lost only $250ish on the day. Not bad

Woke up this morning with the hangover from hell. Not cool at all. Had breakfast a cafe cortez (2.5 forks) pancakes and bacon. Syrup was served hot, a nice touch but service was a little slow.

Got the car and went for a drive, went over to Boulder Station, I had never been there before. It has a nice layout, I did find the casino somewhat smoky. I played the Damn Crack Cocaine press your luck slots and dropped 240.

Came over to Flamingo, went to Diamond check in. They didnt give me a go room, rather one of the "Executive", which is just a big room. After some pouting I decided to deal with it.

Played Price is Right slots for hours and lost 100, its such a fun game with the different bonuses and such.

Then moved over to Pai Gow poker and got my ass handed to me. I couldnt catch a cold. (Which I have caught by the way :(

Decided to try to change my luck, went over to Harrahs. Played a little slots and lost a little. Went over to the diamond lounge because I decided that I absolutely could not live without some chips and hummus.

Went over to the tiles table, played for about 2 hours and lost $100, I couldnt really get it going, never won a big bet. It's one of the worst feelings when you cant get any momentum.

Took a walk over to the paigow poker table. Took my remaining $500 of my buy in and played. It was a nice happy full table. I banked from time to time, with varying degrees of success. Was a slow burn (as pai gow often is) then I put out a couple of $100-$125 bets which I hit to make a small profit.

Get this crap. HET properties are now charging for premium drinks. That is BS. Trust me "premium" isnt even premium. They tell me diamond players can still get an upgraded drink, so I recommend leaving your card on the table.

Morning bankroll says I am down about $900 total right now, so thats about $650 yesterday.

Today I plan to check out cosmo, see Vinnie Favorito tonight, play some poker.

$900 on a winning Player wager and press for a $1,800 wager. If you win you have a plus win of $2,700.00.

Two winning wagers is all! Come'on not that hard!

    Good Luck! Glen.

    Not so hard....lol....

Maybe I'll go for 10% of that.

I hope to make a comeback today. Looking at a teaser for tomorrow, thinking Pittsburgh -3.5 and the jets +9

    Good luck on that comeback!

As far as the bet goes, I like the Steeler part, not sure on the Jets. To me, the Jets have to win to cover that bet. Hoodie likes to run up scores on everybody, especially the Jets I have to believe. Case in point the blowout in meeting 2 where Brady played the whole game.

    HET's "premium drinks"

I'm curious what HET's definition of "premium drink" is. You mentioned they would charge you if you aren't Diamond.

What was your experience with this?

Maybe a side of the total to help the teaser, I hate 3.5 points.

Eating breakfast right now, had room service come up. Orlando, the server gave me a nice... "Good Morning Mr. Dave" I like that.

Setup the breakfast and offered to pour my coffee, nice touch. And for once, room service coffee doesn't suck!

So the last time I was at Planet Ho it was under HET and I ordered a bottle of Louis the 13th at the STrip House upstairs on the 2nd floor. It did take a while to get it and we all joked around with the waiter where he had to go to get it.

He answered he had to go get a check from the main cage and go across the street to The Bellagio and return.

Guess it was above premium level, huh?

Thanks for the semi live updates. It's been slow here, so anything new is a great read. Good luck chasing! I think I can.....I think I can....I think I can.

    Good Luck!

I hope the chasing today is better than yesterday. I love the press your luck slots! My favorite back the last time I was in Vegas was Milk Money..those pesky cows never gave out the chocolate milk.

I like the teaser, since I am from NY I am hoping the Jest win outright but that is not very likely!

    Have Fun!

That's hilarious! I can't believe they didn't have a bottle of it next door at Paris.

Day three, drove over to cosmo, very nice hotel and the try to give you good customer service. None of the staff wears name tags, they are told to introduce themselves to you.

Played that crack cocaine price is right game, lost, Played pgp for about 6 hours, lost like $300 or so. Called a host over for a buffet comp. She said she put it on my card, but when I got to the buffet t was not there, couldnt get the host on the phone so I used points and payed the difference.

The buffet is quite diferent with many high end items on small plates (4 forks)

Came back to the Flamingo and saw Vinnie Favorito, I will say it again....see his show. (5 claps)

So, I woke up, forgot to eat. Worked out at the gym at flamingo. Got a good burn going. Bet the steelers -165 for $300. Win Played 20 parlay packers and over, hit that.

Went chasing, said I wasnt going to but I did.

I played baccarat at flamingo, first show hurt me, second shoe I said. (I am cutting a banker shoe, you will burn a ten) He did, and it was a banker shoe, but I was in too deep to get it back, always lost the real big bets, couldnt get lucky.

Played BJ and PGP and lost the rest, down $2100 for trip SHit

I must look shady, I have gotten "special" screenings on both legs of the trip.
At least a horse I own won last night. :)

Might be my last trip for a while as Dad is getting the "somztimers" disease and needs more attention.

Never really had a super good time, but it was still relaxing and enjoyablee

I should have flown out there last night to help my friend.

I would have, just too bz with crazy business right now and every extra min., going into planning the Asian New Year and SB week.

    I feel for you.

You know we could have opened a shoe and overpowered that dum ass shoe. Bang out a half dozen at table max! LOL!

Yeah, it was a strong bank shoe, but every big bet went the other way for me. I probably lost 80% of my big bets this trip, that makes it damn tough to win.

Anyway, Im back home safe and sound now and will build up a roll for another trip!

Sorry about the losses, nice report, and thanks for the heads up on Spanish 21 at Fitz offering double double down, I've only seen that previously in Arizona and as you said for soft hits, it's a nice option

Yeah the double, double, double is a great option cause If you draw to 21 anytime during that sequence, you get paid. But you have to be ready to gamble as that $5.00 wager can become $40!
