    My Trip Report

Went out to Vegas last week for my friend's wedding and had a blast. Rather then write out a huge moment by moment trip report, I put together a little video of our trip. Enjoy.

I just tried to watch that video and all that happened was about ten commercials in a row played - maybe moving it to youtube would work better - did anyone else have the same problem?

OK it works if you click the TEXT link that says "Joe Gloria Wedding" and not the video itself (if you are having trouble). I love the Dean Martin soundtrack !

I put it up on youtube, but they removed the music because youtube can be a bitch when it comes to posting music owned by WMG.

I stayed downtown. I gotta say, Fremont had a great vibe on this trip. I think the zipline and the imposter celebrities have added some new life to a scene that was getting a little stale.

The Lou Gramm (Foreigner) concert outside of the Fitz was a real nice surprise. He may look like hell these days, but he still sounds great.

Ate like a king this trip. Made 3 seperate trips to the Triple 7. Had the chili each time, which is a must have every trip. It's not hot or spicy, but it is damn tasty. Love the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger there too.

The post wedding dinner was at Battista's. Everyone loved it. Had the Chicken Rio and several Fat Tires.

Loved Dupars at the Gate for breakfast. The Bacon was better than perfect. On the other hand, the breakfast buffett at MSS was terrible.

Best meal of the trip came from Hugo's Cellar. The Blue Cheese Crusted NY Strip was orgasmic. Also had very good meals at the Triple George, In N Out, the Peppermill and the Flame.

The Chapel of the Flowers was an excellent choice for the wedding. Everything was well done and everyone involved was 100% satisfied.

Didn't have much luck gambling. I had one really bad hand that just killed any momentum I had and never recovered. I was playing BJ at the Fitz, had a $100 bet down, and was dealt 9-2 against the dealer's 6. Great hand. Doubled up, was dealt a 9 for a 20, then the dealer uncovered a 7 and then drew an 8 for a 21. After that, I just couldn't hit anything until the last night where I ended up making a little bit back.

Won 8 or 9 games going undefeated in Beer Pong at O'Sheas. Had a blast doing it.

I agree Hugo's is the place to eat downtown. :)

Sounds like the wedding went better than the gambling. Ooops.
