Flying out Friday morning from Manchester NH w/ friend Sacha. Arrive @ 2:30 Vegas time. Back to airport @ 5 for friend Ruth. Back to airport @ midnight for friend Kim....We all split the car rental otherwise I'd say "Take a cab!"

California Prime Rib Dinner $5.99 4-11 pm
    Mudslides @ Las Vegas Club

Cheesecake Factory @ Caesars or Grand Lux Cafe @ Venetian
Peppermill (next to Riveria) for breakfast
    Lapperts ice cream @ California
    In 'n Out Burger!

Souvenier photo @ Imperial Palace front entrance 11 am-11 pm
Luxor Hold 'Em lessons @ 2pm daily, followed by $1-$2 game
Purple Reign @ Boardwalk Casino lounge (11 pm?)
Big Elvis @ Barbary Coast lounge Tues-Fri 3-6 pm

    And of course, GAMBLING!

My husband, who got left out of this trip, opened his fortune cookie the other night and it read
"You will soon receive great news from far away" and of course I'm thinking- "That would be me calling him to tell him I won HUGE!"

Win or lose, it's going to be fun fun fun! [IMG]

Sounds like a fun trip, Heathcat! Are you staying downtown? (You have a lot of downtown stuff listed.)

We're staying at Fitzgeralds Fri & Sat, then in a Resort room @ the Aladdin (thanks for your trip report on that- it helped us decide!!) i'm going to try the $20 trick to see if I can get a Resort Vista room, as two of the girls have never been to Vegas and to have a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains would totally blow them away!!

Oh I am so jealous! [IMG] LOL I hope that you have a great time and get to call the hubby with good news. I actually tried to convince my husband of a girls only trip to Sin City but was told I could not go without him. [IMG]

Best of luck to you all!! [IMG]

Hubby's being so good about it- trying not to talk about it in front of him, but caught myself squealing on the phone with one of the girls- right in front of him [IMG] !

I think he's being cool because he and I are going for a week in March [IMG]

Dang...I am always trying to get my wife to go on a Girls trip, but she won't....what's up with that?! She needs new friends... hahahahaa

Those drinks at La Bayou are GOOD!

Be sure to do something that has to "stay in Vegas"..... I think there is a Chipendales type club upstairs at the Olympic Garden, or Thunder from Down Under is around the Mandalay/Luxor area.

Your Pats look good....maybe it'll snow a lot, and they can get a cheesy ticket to the Big Game with some new rule no one has ever heard of.... oh wait, that's already been done.

You might want to call Aladdin and ask them if any of the Resort Vista rooms have 2 beds in them. Their website seemed to indicate only one king-sized bed in each room. That's why we did not try for the upgrade as my two friends are very dear friends but choose not to share a bed when they don't have to [IMG] If that's not a problem then good luck with the upgrade! Otherwise I bet you'll be fine in the Resort room!

    Have a blast!!

    Hey Heathcat!

I guess you are on the plane as I write this! How can hou have fun in LV without your hubby?Just kidding, of course; my wife won't fly so I go to my trade show solo each year in feb.

I am from NH too (Gilmanton)and was surprised to read that yhou are staying at the Fitz. I just posted that I was ready to book a stay in april with my son when I read a terrible post about the room there. I know that they have done a lot of improvements with the new management and I am not really picky about a room since I only really sleep and shower there. I would be really appreciative of your comments about your stay there tonight and tomorrow. I found a price of $124 (141 with tax and fees) for 4 nights (tues thru friday nites in april)which was far less than even the hotel's web page. Please let me know how you liked it! Have fun!

    Great trip report!

As a side note...I'm from NH as well, but have lived in California almost twenty years. Manchester is my favorite airport by far, for some reason.
