Solo trip 8/17 - 8/20

After reading so many trip reports on two of my favorite Vegas boards I decided to try and write one. So bare with me.

Flight was a non stop 8:45 from Cleveland as soon as I got off shuttle at airport recevied email flight delayed 45 mins trip not starting off so good. But when I got to my gate ticket agent appoached with are you going to Vegas 10 mins later she has me on a 8:30 flight to Denver and a 200 dollar voucher in my pocket. Trip getting better. Good flight to Denver 45min wait there then off to Vegas arrived in Vegas an hour later then origanl flight so not to bad. After about a 45 min shuttle ride arrived at Harrahs.

First time staying at Harrahs was a little scared after reading some bad reviews. But check in at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Tuesday took 10 mins very happy with that. Was put in room 1233 Carnival tower room was nothing special but is was clean and everything worked only thing was anyone talking in the hall even a whisper could be heard in room. wasn't planning on spending much time in room anyways and room was a comp from my play at Atlantic City and some midwest Casinos so no complaints.

After a quick unpack hit the casino floor. Found a bank of video poker machines that was going to be my home and one was going to be my atm machine for the next 4 days.
