  1. Hi Everyone!

Found this website about a week ago. Leaving on May 11th (Mothers Day)...Bye kids (have 3) Bye Husband take good care of the children while I'm away ;)

Staying at the Tropicana this time. Last time I stayed at this end of the strip was 2 years ago when we stayed at the Luxor. Looking forward to seeing Mandalay Bay. I am looking forward to going over to NYNY. I have never stayed there, but something about NYNY just puts me in awe. Its not as fancy as Bellagio or Venetian (although I get amazed by those) The NYNY is just "fun" to me for some reason

Siblings and I don't have anything in particular that we are going to do as far as shows go, seems we hardly ever take the time to eat while we are there... too busy gaming. I am going to try and get to the pool 1X a day (staying thru Wednesday, May 14th)Weather channel indicates 80's thru our stay. Yeahhhhhh..its been so cold/wet here in the Midwest

Venetian has Double points in May for the Venetian Wheel Deal Monday thru Wednesday. Did anybody try this while they were there recently?
    Sounds kind of fun.

Everybodys posts have been so very helpful on the board. I can't believe how much people get comp'd! I am certainly going to try it. All they can say is NO right

I stayed at the Tropicana April 2002 and I wasn't disappointed. The pool is really nice and they also have a jacuzzi - I think two of them.

I wouldn't say the gambling is great there but you know it is always a hit a miss at casinos.

Enjoy your trip without the hubby and kids - have a great time!

traverlgirl.1 I so agree with you. I am looking forward to sitting by the pool, reading and sunning with a margarita in my hand! With the rain today, it makes it all the more appealing. Do some gaming, win LOTS of money and just have a good time. We are leaving also on the 11th from Madison, WI. Counting the days....T-5 till we're in the sky! Have a good time!

Have a ball! We're going the same time for 8 days...we'll either be going back to the airport in a Limo or hitch hiking! LOL You're right, the weather looks awesome for pool days! Enjoy [IMG]
