    My Trip Report

First of all, I messed this one up all by myself.

I got down by PHL a little early, so I went to Harrahs Chester to pick up FSP. Had $50 then, put in $100, chased with another $200 and then another $600 DAMN :grrr: Down $900 right off the bat...well low-rolling it is.

Now my buddy Jack was supposed to be there with me, but his father is deathly ill so now a solo tri.

Uneventful SWA flights to Vegas, took the Grazie shuttle to Palazzo. Wow, the suites are really nice here.

My "free gift" was $50 in pocket casino credit--- what BS. Anyway used it and got 63.50 Took it easy the rest of the night.

Sunday 5/30 Woke up and had breakfast in the Gold Lounge at Venetian. Good service as always, good coffee and newspapers, always happy with that. Had $200 in matchplay so I decided to play PGP. Only won one matchplay, DAMN. Recovered to a $16 profit.

Played some dollar slots at lost $250.
Walked over to Oshea's and played Texas Holdem. I wont bore you with bad beat stories, but lost 180. Best thing was I was drinking Irish coffee. Came with whipped cream and a cherry on top, German guy said it was gay. Then asked if it had alcohol in it, I said yes, and he said, "well its morning, so its not so gay" Glad I have his approval, ******bag. Well, they put a lot of Jamison in their Irish coffees and after six, I am feeling good.

Stopped by Casino Royale to play the BS FSP, got dick as usual.

Quick stop at the Carnival Court liquor store and picked up some Cutty for scotch and soda, used TR credits. (Sorry about the cheap scotch PeanutMNM, but am down pretty good now.)

Tried the new top dollar quarter machine, would prove to be my downfall later.

Went to the Palazzo pool, service sucked, but scenry was Sweet!

Took a cab downtown played slots at Biniions won $40. Stopped at Fremont and played PGP, $10-15 a hand (now officially trying, note trying) to low-roll.
Went back and forth and won $70.

Looked for Pumkinfish and Gaggles at GG, but they no esta. Played craps and made a whopping $6.00

Played PGP at fitz $25/hand won 60, even won $10 on roulette.

Crossed a thing off my Vegas list and won a Silver Strike at 4Q. Almost every table at the Queens is now Crapjack 6/5. That really BLOWS, they always were relatively liberal on the comps and now I cant play there.

PLayed PGP at binions for a couple of hours and broke even. Saw a sweet special at the bullpen, 16 inch 1 topping pizza, AND a pitcher of MGD or Coors ite for $10.00 Not a bad deal at all. I upgraded to a two topping pizza and Sam adams for just $5.00 more. Pizza was surpirsingly decent, thin crust, lots of cheese (3 forks)

Also smoked a nice Gloria Cubana Serie R, spent the rest of the night there met some great folks. Took a cab home to the Palazzo. Sacked out for the night

    Memorial Day

    Side Note

LOTS OF HOTTIES around.. I'll leave out the details. but WOW!!! (best part of trip)

Breakfast in Gold lounge Lost 20 on the top dollar thing. Went back to low--rolling. Went to my favorite race-book in vegas....the IP. I just always feel comfortable there, drink service is good from Hotties, and I can get all my racing forms free with my Diamond card.

Played for hours on $185 including tips to the tellers and waitresses. They had my spicy Stoli. bloody marys on autopilot and made lots of RCs ($5 dollars bet is 1 point, just like slots)

--Side note. My "friends" in Phila. had a tip on a horse, drove to the track just to bet this one horse, won big money, knew I was in Vegas and DIDNT CALL ME. Grrrr:grrr:

Had lunch at Hash house at IP. Had a BLT, Friggn Huge, so big you couldnt eat it (3.5 forks) Far too broke for too much gambling, so played a litte

Played that damn new top dollar thing and dropped another 2 bills.

Sacked out in room and enjoyed nicee Punch reserve torpedo with some scotch and soda. Watch the boob tube and passed out.

    6/1

Bankroll pretty shot now, but had to get chips for some friends. Now I usually dont gamble on my getaway day, but while walking everywhere for chips I lost $400. :grrr:

Overall only lost $1060 in Vegas, but the DAMN Harrahs Chester put to an even 2K for the trip... oh well. I'll be back soon, thanks for reading.

At least the scenery was good. That's the most important part.
Thanks for posting - you have my sympathy for all the bad luck.

Where can I find the silverstrike machine at the 4 Queens?? I managed to run off with 13 of them from Planet Hollywood last time I was there in March. Making a return trip this August and would love to get some more silverstrikes!

There are three silverstrike machines. One behind the sportsbook, one at the cashier and one close to the main casino bar.

Yeah, the pizza was pretty good. I was slightly inaccurate, xtra topping was $2. going to the Sam adams was $5

But 16 inch one topping and a pitcher of MGD or Coors Lite for $10 In nice comfy, cigar friendly setting. Cant be beat!

I like this trip report even more than other people's winning reports. It's real. It resembles my last trip. I know it sucks to relive it so thanks for posting.

Is the Grazie shuttle for anyone that's staying at the hotel? something you pay for or did they send it to you because you have status?

It's free with the Gold Card, or 6.00. It is run by Executive Limo at door 8 at McCarran. Even if you pay its a good deal because it goes right to V/P

    P.S. Go Flyers!

do I have to make arrangements ahead of time or just walk outside of door 8 and get on?

don't get too excited, the hawks are just making it interesting.

I made no other arrangements, I went to the Executive Limo booth by door 8, showed them my grazie gold card, they wrote some stuff down, and away I went.

Thanks for sharing, sorry about the poor gambling results. As a fellow cigar smoker, at least enjoying a good stick and good view helps the pain in the wallet a little.

that kind of sucks on the free gift being pocket casino credit, as they are giving that out for 1st time users anyway. Sounds like you managed a good trip though even though that Chester's loss stung, thanks for the report.
