It's actually not too bad as far as the crowds go. Weather can be weird. Sometimes it's nice and other times it's cold. I heard somebody say it pays to dress in layers. The last time I was there during this time of the year I saw more pairs of leather pants than I've seen in my life.

If the National Finals Rodeo is in town it's a bit packed. Sunday's in the sports books are packed too. It's hard to find a seat in some places.

The fountains at Bellagio music has hopefully switched over to Holiday music, which is kinda cool. I've heard that the Rio has a huge Christmas Tree, but haven't seen it yet. I don't remember what the Bellagio's Conservatory's theme is.

It's actually really nice. If I had the money I would be out there too. Oh well, have to wait until next year. Have fun!

I'm T-9 and feel the same way -- counting the hours!!! I'm wearing knit tops and light jackets -- every time I've gone this time of year, I only get cold if I spend too much time walking between casinos; but since we're staying downtown this time and only going to the Strip one day, not much walking in store.

Well the Rodeo will be gone so hopefully it will be as slow as ive heard. im looking forward to going to Vegas and finding a seat at a table without having to wait around. I'll difently go check out the holiday fountians at Bellagio. What about the rest of the city are there any other cool holiday attractions?

Didn't Santa make a stop over at the Rio Parade?

If you're renting a car, the Ethel M factory (I think it's in Henderson) has a Christmas lights display (plus if you get there early enough for the tour, they give free samples :D ).

We have visited Vegas twice during Christmas. It always seems to me, considering how over the top everything else is out there, that Las Vegas is the town that Christmas forgot. Most hotels put up the obligatory tree, but that's about it. My guess is, they want to take your mind off of the money you should spend on gifts, and get you to lay it on the table! Whatever the reason, I can't think of a bad time to be in Vegas! Have fun, I am having Vegas withdrawals. We haven't been since September of '01 and its time to go!

Hey Crapsboy...here's the most important thing: Find a hot shooter, spread the numbers, press 'em up to the table limit, then start making come bets at the same time, then start with the hardways and finally say "take me off" right before that nasty number finally hits! There now, you've just made about $50,000!
