For most websites the standard session timeout is around 20 minutes (this is set by the web server, the websites themselves have no control over this).

As said above I would use word, wordpad or notepad to write the report up first and then cut and paste.

This also gives you a permanent copy you can save for your own future reading or if something happens like what did or even if their database goes down and they have to do a day old restore or something.

Please do give it another shot - I (along with many others I'm sure) would love to read what you have to say about your trip.

If you don't have word pad or word. You can use openoffice or google documents. Then cut and paste.

Still waiting for my first Vegas trip since joining this forum. I'll be a TR virgin and would share in frustration such as yours, especially since writing (electronic writing in particular) is such a chore. However, trip reports allow us to live and learn from your experience, allowing us to experience Vegas through your eyes and perception. They are such a welcome break from the monotonous grind that can be the work day and also shares valuable info in trip planning for some of us. Here's hoping you hang tough and try again.

Weird - I never get logged out on this site unless I clear my cookies. However, I also use word or notepad, because I end up changing so much stuff as I remember things.

Sorry about that. Yeah, writing offline and cutting and pasting is the best option for a big report. I'm always adding things too. :)

Hope you'll give it another try.
