3rd Annual Girls Trip.. May 2010 + Pictures

I am going to try my best at the trip report. Sadly I cannot share everything. This wasn't the most PG trip ever haha.

Our group consisted of 5 girls between the ages of 26-31 (Me, D, B, S, and A). We set off on Monday May 4th. Arrive at Mccarran at 11am. Took a cab to the Hard Rock Hotel. We tried to check in early but there were no rooms clean. We stayed in the Casino Tower (Paradise Tower was booked, more on this later) and got automatically upgraded to a pool view.


We grabbed lunch at bahama breeze down the street, and then split up into two groups. Two hit the strip, the other three of us hit the pool. We met some locals at the Hard Rock Pool. Since they have a new pool section they don't open the whole pool all the time. We also met people who were in from out of town working a convention.

The girls who went sightseeing came back too drunk to continue on with the 3 us for the day so we ate at Pink Taco, and then went to Moon at the Palms. As females we didn't have to pay cover and we also received 2 free vodka drinks. Fun but not terribly eventful.

Wednesday- Woke up and then at 11 we decided to hit the HR pool as a group. Ran into the two of the guys we met yesterday at the pool while they were working the private party at the new circular pool, but told us to go in because one of their girlfriends was in there by herself. We immediately see her.. and pull up chairs beside her. We are making small talk and finally I question what the private party was for. And I get my answer, Swingers. There is a weekend long (well Wed-Sun) convention, 1100 of them to be exact and they were who was taking over Paradise Tower. I cannot make this stuff up. One of my friends was really hurt that we were not propositioned to swing.. When we asked her why that bothered her.. she told us that it " she wasn't interested in doing so but, it would have been nice to be asked" haha.


At about 2 we leave the pool and get into the shuttle to the strip with us are a group of about 10 firefighters from California. This was the most R rated shuttle trip I've ever had in my life. Let's just say, there were lap dances..


Anyhow, we arrive at Margaritaville, which is one of my favorite restaurants ever. We continue to drink there. We leave and head towards Harrahs. We get caught up in the carnival court area, and spend a ridiculous amount of money on hats and boas.. There is something about props that drunk me loves. After catching the TI siren show, we head back to the hotel and are somehow too tired to go anywhere that evening. So we fall asleep at around 10-11.

Thursday - We had pre-purchased tickets to visit Bodies and Madame Tussauds. We hit Bodies first which I have seen two times prior but I'm a science dork so I always enjoy going. Then we went to lunch at Gonzales y Gonzales, which I visit every trip. Awesome mexican food. Some of the girls start to drink.. I hold off until after lunch.



We walk down the strip and stop at Paris, and more specifically the drink stand outside that offers HUGE Eiffel Tower margaritas. We each get one and then proceed down to the wax museum. Apparently they don't allow drinks in the museum.. but somehow we "sneak" in our eiffel towers.. And if you haven't seen them they are seriously almost two feet tall. Wax people + 5 drunk girls = quite the show.


After the Museum we enter the Venetian and somehow stumble into TAO. It's only 5 o'clock. We are fascinated by their bathroom area and take many pictures. We sit on the couch by the bar. There are two guys at the bar, who at this point have no idea what they are in for. My friend calls them over. We chat with them for a bit, and they invite the 5 of us to dinner at TAO, on them. We accept the invitation (despite my not so discrete protesting, I don't like asian food and we had reservations for a comped dinner at Rare 120 at the Hard Rock). What is funny is when he walked back to the hostess she said, "Let me guess, your party of two just became a party of 7." We eat (okay I just drink..) and thank the boys and part ways with them.. we told them we would text them later and let them know what we are up to.

It's already like 7:30. We stop at the store and buy 24 oz Coronas.. We race back to the HR, get ready and quick as possible and head down to dinner at Rare 120.. i humored them with the other "dinner" but now this girl was hungry and wanted some steak. The steak and salad we had, family style was awesome. They had some different drinks on the menu as well. After we are done eating, we meet our host head over to Vanity. We have to wait for awhile outside the club. The reason being, oh that's right the Swingers have their formal night. There are guys in tuxes, and girls dressed like JLo at the Grammy's. Holy Hell. The night becomes quite blurry at this point, and I will do my best to make it as coherent as possible..


Motorcross was also in town this weekend for an event and the awards were being held on Sunday at the HR so from a distance we saw Pink and Carey Hart.

We have a drink at the club.. the boys we ate dinner #1 at TAO with are outside.. so we then leave the club to meet them. In the elevator ride on the way down, (full of swingers) the lady standing behind one of my friends decides that she wants to put her leg up on S's shoulder.. and thrust her pelvis at her. Meanwhile gouging her arm with her heel. When this lady got no response she announced to everyone.. "Oh.. they're not playful." HA.

We meet the boys at the the bar in the casino.. have a drink and then go back into the club. At this point the boys couldn't get in. They apparently stand outside for awhile, and text S. She feels bad and says lets go get them. We once again leave the club, go outside and it's not so much a line to get in.. just a crowd of guys. All it took was for us to grab them, and take them in with us. At last we were all in. At this point all I remember is dancing, and many trips to the bar. S and I spent a lot of time with the guys we went to dinner with. However we run into the firefighters for the shuttle ride. Every time that S's 'designated guy' would go to the bathroom she would run over to her lapdance buddy (who is stored in my phone as Sweet Jesus, so we're just going to go with that). SJ tells S.. "I don't want to be a C#$% Block.. so have fun, but call me tomorrow"


B and A went back to the room at like 2.. Not before witnessing some of the convention attendees put on the following show.. in the lobby right outside the elevator. Guy screams.. "I want to stick my face in your.. " (use your imagination kids..) Girl sits down and opens her legs. I can't make this stuff up.

It was a normal drunken Vegas night.. until S got us kicked out of the club. On swingers night, for repeatedly unbuttoning the guy she with's shirt. S and I.. think it's a fantastic idea to go back to the Venetian with the boys to continue drinking. D actually goes to the crazy at hard rock swingers penthouse party.. We hang out at the Venetian till about 6 am.. and we watch the sunrise. Then, damn it sucked walking around Vegas all dressed up from the night before.. we laughed so hard in the cab the driver thought we were crying.

Friday - A, B, and S were leaving that night. D and i went to the Palms Pool for a bit, but it was way over crowded so we headed back to our pool. The other girls went shopping and sightseeing all day. After the girls left for the airport, D and i want to The Bank in the Bellagio. The Bank is so weird because I feel like whenever I'm there, they always try and pimp the girls out. Random employees would come up to us and send us to VIP tables.. and many a times we get a drink, stay for a hot second and be on our way.
We started talking to these two guys for a bit (Steve and Brad). Cocktail waitress approaches me.. asks me if we are with them.. and I tell her well not really. She tells me if we want to ditch them, there is a guy in VIP who is older.. and just wants to share his champagne and have a good time. I ask if he's creepy, she says no. I tell D we should just get their number. She stays with the guys and the cocktail waitress and I go over to the VIP. I meet the guy whose paying for it. I get a glass of champagne. Not talkative, and isn't touchy with me so it's good. And they had chocolate covered strawberries there. There are two other ladies in the VIP balcony area. We are all dancing.. the VIP guy grabs my hand.. puts something in it, closes my hand on it and drops my hand. I stay for a little longer.. but at this point I miss my friend, and am really wondering WTF is in my hand. I rejoin D, and the boys, and when I look in my hand there is $100 bill.. Wow. I am confused.. and my mom really hated this story but, I'm excited.

We leave the club not to long after and walk the strip with the boys. And by walk I get a piggy back ride. It was that kind of night. We exchange numbers and part ways with the boys and head back to the HR for some much needed rest.

Saturday - Uneventful because I felt sick for most of the day. I recover and we go to the Paris Buffett. It was my first visit there and i have to say, I loved it. The food was good, the desserts were even better. We end up going to Toby Keith's that night. Pretty entertaining for people watching, and after two "Vegas Dreams" (I swear it's worse than a LIT) D was beyond coherent, and it was time for us to go back to the HR.

Sunday - We were going to go to Rehab but that is always a fiasco, so instead we opted to hit the strip. Went into Aria, and got invited to go to liquid. It was free champagne for ladies all day. Okay we will take it. The Liquid pool area is super tiny however, the way it was set up, blocked the crazy Vegas wind. So we were able to get some sun. Afterwards we went back to the hotel, changed and met up with one of the guys from The Bank for a bit and got a few drinks. Spent the night at the Hard Rock with our friends working the Swingers convention.. telling us allll about what happens when Swingers go to Rehab.


Monday- Shopped in the AM, and hit the HR pool in the afternoon once it heated up more. The HR pool I remember from trips passed was awesome. It just wasn't hopping like it used to be. I found it to be a hot spot for a lot of locals now.

Tuesday - Last day! Did some last minute shopping. One of the guys who was working the convention told us about his favorite Vegas restaurant, and took us there that night. It's called Chicago Joe's.. it's passed the Stratosphere and it was amazing. I felt like I was entering someones house. It was a little hole in the wall place but, it wasn't like all the other places we ate at all week. Made it just in time to catch the red eye back to the east coast.

Although some of it does seem uneventful, I had to edit out some of the crazier stuff. Towards the end I got sort of tired and felt like I was just going through the motions. I also rushed the end of the trip report after I got passed the good stories that I really wanted to share and give a lot of detail to. I met a lot of awesome people, and had a blast and writing this trip report is making me want to book my trip in August soon, especially while flights are on sale for $240..

And as you all my notice the five of us did little to no gambling in Vegas. Although I would say some of them did gamble when they chose to adopt "pull and pray" method of birth control. Haha..

Great report. Sounds like a fun group. That last line about "pull and pray".....oh my!

 

Outstanding report and agree with the others so far, when's the next trip, and it definitely could use a camera crew. I can only imagine the details left out. Thanks for typing it up though, sounds like it was a great time and like viewing a High Roller experience kind of interesting to see the other side from a female perspective of taking advantage of HR, Palms, and other high end places.

We go as a group every May.. sometimes the girls that go vary but this group vowed to return next May. Two of us try and go every August as well.. We don't have as many responsibilities/expenses (aka kids) as the others so it's easier for us to escape more often.

Oh and i took a few minutes and added some pics.. helps to paint the story.. And they also help me remember!

this sounds like a blast for the girls, but it is amazing how guys throw so much money at girls, especially when the return is just a dinner.

Anyways, I would take advantage too, if I found some cougars haha

 

Where can I get the R-rated version at? That sounded like you guys had a blast and the reason I will let my wife go anywhere with her friends besides Las Vegas.
