I was just trying to remember if my first Royal or my first "real" sex was better. Too long ago to remember either, but I know it was good!

Thanks for the report. I like United also

Really liked the picture of the Luxor room, I've always wondered about the rooms there. Looks like you have to be in the tub to look out the window!

    Thanks everyone!

Hopefully the additional pics I've loaded add some perspective as to the room layout, the proximity of the tub to the window and the views. Most of the pictures of the view were taken from the "living room" standing beside the window. This room has a sofa, small refrigerator (for your use, not loaded with items to buy) and a TV. This room was not very large but was decent for a few people to watch the 19 inch baby tv (the bedroom tv is 25" or 27").

You can comfortably stand on the tub platform / stair. Inside the tub, you are able to watch the planes take off / land as well as the balloon tour deal they built across & south of MB. The balloon was in the air quite a bit (both day and night hours) so they must be getting decent business.

I liked the room comped but I believe the website rate was about $70 / night more than the $80 / night standard room (about $150 / night) which could snag you a Wynn room these days but if I was booked at the Luxor I would ask for an upgrade (either free if available or ask for the price). Upgrade charges sometimes are very different than the rate difference when you originally book the room.

For example, I had a basic Forum room at Caesars Palace and the Augustus Tower was around $100 more per night at the time of booking. However, while checking in I asked and was offered an Augustus Tower upgrade for either $20 or $30 which I took as it had a view of the Bellagio Fountains. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a comped Flamingo room cannot be upgraded for the mere $30 or $40 difference between the standard and go rates as comped rooms are held in blocks of the casino and they cannot switch out these type rooms easily at the Flamingo.

Congrats on the Royal! Congrats even more on being able to walk away with your winnings rather than plowing it all back :nworthy:. Nice report.
