    My Trip Report

Hello everybody we made it back from LV. Here is my trip report......
Jan 3 we arrived in LV at 10 am and was greeted by the most awesome limo driver. He first took us all to the welcome to LV sign and took our photo's.
Then we went to the hotel, Excalibur. Naturally that early our rooms were not ready and we were told to come back in 2 hours, still not ready the front desk clerk said she gurantees us they will be ready at 3, so we go back at 3, nope not ready yet......we are alittle upset, we just want a place to change our clothes and freshen up as we have been up since 4 am Mich time and now we are getting tired. The supervisor finds us some rooms and of course the $20 trick doesn't work there.

we had rooms in tower one, not impressed, we changed and freshed up and took off for dinner and walk down the strip. we arrived back to room and discovered light bulb missing in lamp between the beds, called front desk and they sent maintence up to put one in. So we turn the light on to discover a bunch of trash alongside the bed, and the beds appeared to have not been changed, but only made.....Ewe! we called fron desk and they moved us to tower 2 room with awesome view, this room is 30 night more but we got it free. The only downside is now we are on the otherside away from the other 4 in our group. The view was nice, but would not pay $30 a night for it!!
4 of the women in the group wants to go tour the hoover damn on monday and had pretty much decided that's what they are going to do, so My daughter and I decided we were not going there as we have seen it too many times already, so we signed up to do the timeshare thing. Yeah I know it is a rip-off but we only had to give them 2 hours plus travel time, and we got 2 tickets to see tournament of kings and 2 tickets to bodies and 25.00 to gamble with.

We played slots winning alittle here and there but giving it all back. On wednesday the 5th, we went to Bally's to play the price is is right, While waiting to get in I played a slot and won $80. finally got into game, and they called my name to "come on down" I had to guess the price on a DXG HD video camera, I won the guess. On stage I had to guess the order of products in price from low to high. I made it have half way and decided to stop. I won $600. If I had gone on any further I would have lost. It was a ton of fun.

That evening we went to the new M casino for their buffet, worth the drive out there. We all signed up for the rewards card and received $5 to play on slots, we pooled it together in a $5 slot machine and didnt win. I just had a good feeling so I put another $20 in but the other woman said they were in with me, they wouldnt let me go alone, since I was the having good luck that day. when It was my daughters turn to spin she asks me to do it for her because she was having a lot of bad luck, so I spun it and hit for $1800, we split this 6 ways....we made so much noise that the casino host heard us from the otherside of the casino and just had to come and check it out, as well as the pit boss at the tables, we created a lot of excitement in there that night. It turns out that the host is from Michigan and he gave us his card and said the next time we come out get ahold of him and he will hook us up with comps. A room would be nice, but not likely....

We saw the mystere show, pretty awesome show, my daughter was part of the preshow....pretty funny,

Once my sister came out, my daughter and I went with her while the other 4 went their own ways, we just kind of hung out and took a ride down to the outlet mall as my sister needed to pick up some stuff while in town, then we had lunch at Chili's. After that we went back to the excalibur and played some black jack, we all started with a $20 I ended up cashing out $350, my daughter $150 and my sister $500. A pretty successful night and an awesome way to end our trip, we had to be up at 6 am the next morning to fly home. I ended up coming home with $400 more than I went out there with after all expenses.

This report is a little long winded and I only highlighted on the eventful portions of the trip.

Great TR. Finally someone else who won at TPIR. I have been defending how much fun it is from the people who have lost. Glad you had a great time...I can't wait to go back.

    A winning trip

That is the way to do it.

After all expenses are paid and still have $400 is a VERY successful trip in my opinion.

    Congrats.

At the price is right, just because you make up on stage doesn't mean you get to spin the wheel, bummer! If I would have made it into the showcase round my mental guess on the package would have sent me home as a bigger winner, but that didn't happen.
Now I am home looking at all this snow coming down, wish I didn't have to come back to this, can't wait to go again.
