    My Trip Report

    02/09 TR

Had a nice Vegas quickie to meet up with my friend Trevor and his brother that were out west on business. Just some bullet points to hit the highlights:

-SWA on free RR ticket to and from. Had 6am flight on Friday morning as availability of Thursday flights was marginal. There were 2 big weddings going out and same people coming back. I passed out a dozen free drink tickets to one group that was lined up nearest me. This has become a ritual of sorts as I can’t drink them all.

-Booked Paris on a comp about 3 weeks out when I decided to go. Always a nice stay in a regular no frills room.

-Convinced ATCMurph to fly out of Indianapolis while in chat Thursday night.

-Had plans to meet Larry (Sanonofresurfer) for lunch Friday and surprised him with Murph at Margaritaville.

-Played a lot at Oshea’s this trip and it was fun for 3rd trip in a row.

-Played lots of 100 play VP at Bally’s.

-Visited Circus Circus for the first time when Trevor arrived. We sat and played bartop VP until 230am and drank beer Friday nite. Ok, cross that one off the list.

-Went 1-3 in BBall games for – 60 but had good time watching.

-Did Slots O Fun for first time. Uhhh, I’m good.

-Had another great breakfast at Peppermill on Saturday with good company and good Bloody Mary’s.

-Carnival Court and Oshea’s was fun with Lar, Tonya, and Tonya’s friends Rikki and Mariah.

-Paris Sunday brunch was very good but maaaaaan the line was over 1.5 hours. We walked right in though with Platinum TR card, which made the food that much better.

-Met up and had a drink with my pal Sticky at MGM before I had to leave. Shortly after Lar arrived, Stick decided to fall off her chair, and after only ONE crown and coke. STICKY DOWN!

-Was in positive territory until last day. A last minute rally by MGM and Bally’s put me into negative territory, but only by $370, which for 3 full days for me is a big win! WOOOT!

    Nachos RULE!

Hmmm, do I have to drink both?

Sorry I missed ya Marty. Didn't know you were around my neck of the woods over the weekend!

It actually looks like Margaritaville has really scaled back on the nachos! The ones you had seem pretty lame from what I remember. Take a look at them in August of '07!

Well played all around Marty, and nice pics of some familiar faces.

Just remember our numbers at MSS the last night last year. Let's magnify that next month.

    IN! :drooling:

    Rob,

I asked if you were working when we were there on Friday and the craps dealer said he thought you were there but not working craps. I looked around but didn't see you. Saturday visit was after 1am.

It's the jalapenos, Rob...Marty was a big wuss and left them off :poke:. We saw another order come through with them and it added quite a bit of volume...hehe.

It was great hooking up with you guys, Marty. Thanks for being such a great last-minute trip enabler :peace:

How cool is that.....showing up for breakfast and meeting up with Marty and Murph for lunch at Margaritaville?

My first trip to the Peppermill was awesome. And thanks for not mentioning the conversation between us and the waitress......and the poor innocent bystanders.....

    Sticky Down! Best memory ever!
